Gabe Link I really liked Damons! Good atmosphere and all the patrons seemed to be having a good time. There were also 3 birthday celebrations happening as I dined. Food was very good too!

Joseph Gomez Best Southern-style comfort food in San Jose. Everything we tried was outstanding, Uncle Greg’s ribs are hands down the best I’ve had in a very long time. Tender, flavorful, smoky, took me straight to my childhood backyard barbecue with family. The collard greens were seasoned just right, the candied yams hit that sweet spot, and the hot link sausages were full of flavor with just the right kick. The brisket was good too, but if I had to choose between the brisket and the ribs, I’d go ribs all day long. This is good, soulful cooking that feels like love on a plate. Adam Vargyas I took my in-laws here for an anniversary dinner and loved it. I made a reservation, but really didn’t need one (Monday night). If you’re going on a night you expect it to be busier, I’d recommend marking one. Everyone at the table raved about their food (swordfish, salmon, ribeye, Cajun pasta and jam burger). The bar side of the restaurant is a little more casual and the dining room is a quieter, good vibes on both sides, depending on what you’re in the mood for.

Carolina Luna Martha our server was sooo sweet and attended our every need!! She went above and beyond to get our food ready fast knowing we were starving!! Tony the supervisor also attended our needs and they both kept coming to check up on us!! They were amazing at explaining our menu options…Will definitely keep coming and recommend Black bear diner to my friends and family etc
