Suman Hazra This place hands down has the best fried chicken in San Jose, if not in the bay area. Went on a Sunday for late lunch, and the place was packed. The restaurant itself is quite small and gives more takeaway vibes but they have some seats indoors and couple of other benches outdoor. They also have burgers on the menu, but I went there for the fried chicken. You can choose your spice level, and I chose a spice level four, which was just perfect for me. I got the meal with the fries which honestly was a mistake. The fries are below average and kind of floppy and soggy. But that is forgiven because the chicken sandwich was a revelation. I could not imagine White meat ever being so juicy. The marination process must be goated because it was literally dripping like a brisket. Also, it’s huge, and I was very full. It is not cheap though. Expect to pay around $20-$25 for a chicken sandwich with fries. It is extremely worth it, and I will definitely be back again.

Max Sirodan Great place, delicious food, courteous service. It is a pity that the building is small. Portions are large and hearty. We were three and we liked it. Juan Alvarado Lunetta has a very cute and quaint vibe, with the indoor and outdoor seating both having their own lovely aesthetic. The ingredients used to make all meals feel very fresh and sourced from organic sources(confirmed by our server). The green eye matcha was fantastic, while not sweet it was perfectly tart and had a great dash of matcha taste. The 12. Oz steak and eggs were very delightful with the side of vegetable crouton mix serving almost as a gremolata or a chinichurri. It was perfect for brunch and the flavors were just so rich and enlightening. The pancakes and eggs were very nicely done and pair beautifully with the maple syrup. The maple syrup itself was such an amazing experience, it was delicate , light and not too sticky, indicating a homemade saucy syrup which was a great experience! If you are searching for a cute brunch experience with light vibes and great service then this spot is definitely a must!
