Fernando Serbin I would love to thank our server Alexis! She was an amazing server! Came here with my lady and she couldn’t find anything appetizing for herself. She wanted something simple and not to much for her stomach. She asked a few questions to our server and she was able to provide us with more feedback. My lady was able to modify her plate to her liking and simple dish. Wouldn’t have been possible without our server! Thankyou so much she provided us a great dinner for us and great time in the restaurant and I really appreciate her effort and going out of her way to provide us an excellent service! Wood Ryan (Tattoo Woody) Veni’s I a staple of the Tower district. Food by Tony is always so good. Zach and Emily are always friendly. If you haven’t been then you’re missing out. Come to Tower Grab a show and then take a stroll to Veni Vidi Vici and enjoy. It is a truly special place.

Delaney Bird This is hands down my favorite restaurant in Sacramento. Everyone is always so kind, service is top notch, food and drinks are DELICIOUS. The flavor combinations are always unique and seasonal. I think it’s the best quality to price ratio in Sacramento. My partner and I go pretty often and they make us feel like part of the family. I would especially like to shoutout Tyrone, who always makes the most delicious drinks, even when I ask for all my kooky prohibition-era favorites. But truly, everyone who works at Magpie is so wonderful. I highly recommend their beet salad, burger, BLT, duck skin toast (when they have it), miso radishes, and honestly any special they have is always 10/10 (they had this insane banh mi/yorkshire pudding mashup that was life changing). Check it out if you somehow haven’t been!

Serena Waters Some of the most divine butter chicken and korma Ive had. It was silky and bursting with flavor. We hunt for Indian food often, and this was a highlight of our trip, ranking with some of the BEST Indian food weve tried. The chicken and fish were both incredibly tender and melted off our forks. The server was very nice and chatted with us about ingredients. The chicken biryani was bright and flavorful, with a lovely amount of saffron and a good amount of veg too. I could have eaten twelve of the garlic and cheese naan. Just really genuinely enjoyed it. The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice. Pretty standard for something in a shopping mall, but it was clean with mellow music, Bollywood in the TV, and nice art.

Rhett Burden This morning, I took my daughter to Pinstripes at Hillsdale Mall for their “Brunch with Santa” event, and it exceeded every expectation. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and festive the perfect blend of elegant and family-friendly that made the experience feel truly special. The food was genuinely good not just “event food,” but the kind of quality brunch you’d seek out on any weekend. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared, with enough variety to please both kids and adults. But what really made the morning unforgettable was how they handled Santa’s visits. Rather than the typical long line approach, Santa made his way to each table, giving every child unhurried, personal attention. My daughter’s face lit up, and I loved that we could enjoy our meal while Santa took the time to really connect with her. You could tell the staff had put real thought into creating an experience that felt magical without feeling rushed or transactional. The team at Pinstripes clearly understands that these moments matter they’re creating memories families will treasure. If you’re looking for a holiday experience that combines excellent food, a beautiful setting, and genuine care for making children feel special, I can’t recommend this highly enough.
