5 /5 Brian Cho: Came here with my coworker. She recommended this place and we finally stoped by. She’s regular since when she was young. She talked about this place a lot. Oh man, this sandwich was best I ever had. Everything was delicious and can’t wait until I go there again. The price is high but you pay for quality. This is hidden gem in Salinas.

Today, they truly surpassed our expectations, and we left feeling completely satisfied. The food and service were absolutely fantastic! We enjoyed ribs, New York steaks, chicken breasts (with amazing char flavor), and tri-tip, all served with delicious dinner salads featuring ranch and Bleu cheese, tasty country beans, perfect baked potatoes, and flavorful garlic bread. The meats were complemented by their signature BBQ sauce, which adds a special touch. The generous portions allowed us to savor leftovers later. The beans are so delicious that we often buy a quart to take home. We’re definitely coming back soon! It’s absolutely worth our extra effort to make the trip.

1 /5 Daniel Brown: After waiting quite a while to order on a rather slow night, I Ordered a Ribeye, medium rare, baked potato and a Salad, my son got ribs. Waited 40+ minutes for our food. When it arrived the steak was medium well to well. Thin and flavorless. Baked potato was ok. The salad and dressing tasted like Ciscos finest. Wet lettuce and plasticy tasting dressing. The ribs had been on a warmer waaaaay to long, were tough with almost no meat. No sending the food back as the waiter didnt come back around. Not to mention the $100 price tag, plus tax and tip. Icing on the cake, both of us felt sick later that night. Figured Id give them a try for old time sake. Definitely not the Smallys that I remember.

5 /5 Francine F: We had our NYE meal here and it was the first time ever trying Smalleys! We were so full! Husband had a ribeye with steak fries, add mushrooms and grilled onions. I had a cheeseburger and steak fries. The ranch had the perfect ranch taste and the drinks come in a large cup. The mushrooms and chili were my favorite. OK it all was my favorite! My husband said his steak was delicious and cooked just as he requested. Staff are friendly and attentive. Good relaxing atmosphere with great country songs playing. Only negative was Bathroom toilet ran out of paper and I went to the other stall and the floor was soaked I almost slipped in the restroom. But I would totally go back! Thank you for a wonderful meal!
