Spirit of Texas Craft BBQ -Food CA (Near San Bernardino)

Zan Lee A seriously delicious local country diner up in Thousand Oaks. I drove up specifically for Bo’s from West LA and was happy that I made the trip. It’s in a lot sleepier part of town compared to where I am from so it was nice to have easy parking and no wait lines. They have a free parking lot out front and outback plus street parking so it will never be an issue finding a spot. Inside is quite small, but there are a lot of tables and the service is fast so I would guess that they turn quickly. Our server was very polite and everything that we ordered came out lightning fast. I also thought the coffee was particularly good and was especially strong. For our meal, we chose the California Omelette, which was terrific and was a very large sized portion as well as a Small Dutch Baby and a Belgian Waffle. The Dutch Baby was a bit smaller than I was expecting, but still great in flavor and the waffle was fantastic. Honestly, one of the best waffles I’ve had in a long time. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area and would put it on my list of great Valley diners.

Dee We were a group of 8 that arrived early. Thankfully, we were seated in the bar area where we had cocktails and then sat at a nice, somewhat secluded table for dinner. The crab cakes appetizer was fabulous, the bread with oil & vinegar was great, along with our meals. Thank you so much for the friendly atmosphere. The only downside was the parking as we had to park across the street as there were other private business signs. We will visit again.

JessicaAnn Orr This was a great place! We loved it very much. We are from out of the area and enjoyed this cozy little café. It is so clean and the restrooms are beautiful. The inside is welcoming and the staff is simply amazing. I cannot recommend this place enough. Please go and then go again! Because youll want more. Thank you for a great adventure. My husband and I appreciated your hospitality and the meal was more than we could have ever dreamed of.

Danny Real Highly recommend this place for birria. I had the birria de chivo tatemada plate and was really good also great service. Hand made tortillas what more can you ask for.

Jay Colond Beautiful dining room and fantastic value for the quality of the food. There is a decent vegetarian selection, and a full menu including traditional deserts. Although we’ve never used it, they also have a nice bar. The roti were fresh and the dal makhani was so comforting on a cold day. You won’t regret stopping in.

Bakhodir Yuldashev This was my first time in Merced. We accidentally ended up in this restaurant with our movie group. This is a great restaurant. The service is top-notch. The waitress is very polite and cheerful. The food in the restaurant is incredibly delicious. We are all delighted! My son and I ordered ribeye steaks. This is something incredible. The steak is perfectly cooked. Juicy and rich! Special respect to the waitress. And I give the chef a hundred points out of ten! I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to eat deliciously.
