5 /5 William Shattuck: We had the prime rib dinner, it was excellent! The bread roll was a little uncooked inside, but it was edible, thats a tic I have with undercooked breads. The prime rib, medium rare, was done just right, I might get it more medium next time. It wasnt full of fat but had enough to add great flavors. The drinks were not watered down, and of a generous size. The history on the walls, and ceiling, everywhere, was very interesting to read and study. The lighting was just right, not dark but not bright and overwhelming, very soft. All the staff are friendly and very courteous. $9.50 for valet parking. I enjoyed being able to have conversations with the other friends at my table and not being overwhelmed by blaring music that some restaurants play. They do not rush you in and rush you out, they allow you to spend your time there and enjoy the atmosphere. Kids friendly and they also enjoyed it. Definitely a place to put in your must go book.
