Taqueria y Birrieria Amigos & Beer - (Near Hollister, CA)

Karen Mendoza This restaurant is AMAZING! My fiance and i drove from las vegas through bishop and were hungry for some brunch. We found this place on google and boy let me tell u it was a hidden gem. The food was so good i spent some time getting to know the owner (since there was some down time) and he let me know that its just him and his son working the business. The restaurant is dedicated to serving the highschool students near by (GO BRONCOS!). They get extremely busy thanks to them. If u have an opportunity to check them out, please do yourself a favor. The prices are extremely reasonable and u get a great portion, needless to say, the flavor was NOT lacking. They have plenty of seating inside and it was really clean!

Squirrel Friend Kiln exceeded my expectations. The food was delicious and creative. The abalone was a little salty for my taste, but everything else was amazing. The best dishes were the langoustine, the lobster, and the olive oil ice cream. The chef was not shy away from using a healthy amount of fat and oils for flavors. The meal ends up being on the heavier side however. The wine list was good. The service was personable. The ambience lights were just the right amount for mood and great food photography.

Mark V. What a great hidden gem. The food and service was absolutely amazing. Its very rare for me to five star a location but to be fair, they earned it. I regret not remembering my servers name so I can acknowledge her but all staff was amazing.

Jennifer Meza Food and service was amazing. Very attentive and accommodating to my substitutions. We came in on a rainy day and the ambience was very cozy. The very nice lady which I believe was the owner came around to offer a sample of their posole. It was delicious. Their Peruvian inspired dipping salsa with chips was soooo good. Definitely coming back to order those next time. It was a great experience. I had no idea this place was just a few minutes away from home. Their café de la olla and steak was chef’s kiss! Perfect.

Zoltan Hercik I had the chance to eat in many Mexican restaurants in my life but I honestly can say that this is the best. Rigo’s cooking skills are out of the chart. Not enough that they have an amazing selection on the menu, they will also cook whatever you ask for. The food quality, the textures the flavors are all outstanding. The place is nice with a great atmosphere and the stuff of the most friendly you can imagine. Truly great experience every time we drive through Red Bluff.

Rose Rose Our food including our calamari appetizer was all so tastey . Alexandria was so nice and helpful a great first time there. We will be back! I will always bring someone new.
