Carriage House Arcata Restaurant - Arcata

Rating: 4.2 /5
Jennifer Metz We absolutely love The Carriage House! This little Sunny Brae jewel is elegant, chic, and wonderfully welcoming. It’s such a nice addition to the neighborhood, and we really enjoy the warm, stylish atmosphere every time we go. The menu is a bit of a mishmash of different styles, and we do find ourselves wishing it were just a little more adventurous, but everything we’ve tried has been solid. The short ribs with mashed potatoes are definitely our favorite. Our kids enjoyed their pasta, and my husband really liked his Philly cheesesteak. We haven’t tried the pizzas yet, but plan to next time. The service is friendly, though we’d love to see it feel a touch more polished to match the elegance of the space. They have a cute patio that isn’t open yet — we’re really looking forward to that eventually opening because it will add even more charm. Overall, it’s a beautiful spot with great potential, and we’ll definitely keep coming back to see how it grows!

Chula Vista Brewery - Chula Vista

Rating: 4.5 /5
Hans Foto Awesome brewery with tons of seating. Its a great spot to hang out with friends and have a well-made beer. The tasting room is very open and inviting. There are TVs where you can catch a game. There is indoor and outdoor seating. If you walk to the back, you can see the brew house, too. The staff was super friendly. This place is a must stop if you are hanging out in the area. Street parking is limited, but more parking is located nearby on the side streets.

Terry’s Restaurant + Lounge at Cypress Inn - Carmel-By-The-Sea

Rating: 4.5 /5
Shannon Arner Terry’s at the Cypress Inn is everything you want in a brunch spot—delicious food, live jazz that sets the mood just right, and an ambiance that makes you want to linger. The jazz brunch is a must. Bonus points for being super dog-friendly (yes, theres a dog menu!) which makes the whole experience even more fun. It’s the kind of place you come back to every time youre in town.

Geartooth Alewerks - Placerville

Rating: 4.9 /5
Tony Scott Stopped in on the way to Tahoe looking for a brew after working up in Rescue. This spot of brews and bbq is amazing. Family owned and family working. The brews all in house are very good. They make their own dipping sauces and Kit knows all the spices and food. The food tho is excellent. In house smoke. Their trisKIT and jalapeno poopers are some of the best I have had in a while. Pork belly rub is on point. They are having their one year mark and have different awards to prove it. Recommended for sure.

Moofish Cafe’ - Ventura

Dr. Abdullah AlHomeadan Good restaurant inside the Crown Plaza hotel, Ventura, California. They serve breakfast (menu in enclosed in the pictures) and dinner. They are closed for dinner on sundays and Mondays. On Fridays and saturday nights they have live music.

Crackheads Oceanside - Oceanside

Rating: 4.1 /5
Leana Hardgrave Tried out this very fun spot on opening weekend and it was great all around. The vibe is that of a food truck park with a central bar, shared seating, and multiple food options. My husband tried the burrito from one, a craft cocktail from Crackheads, and I tried a Philly cheese steak from another - all were delicious!! The tables had plenty of shade for San Diegos sunny weather, they had lawn games, sand areas, fire pits, and just a really great space to enjoy. With an amazing space and great food options, I know this will be the first of many visits here for me!
