The Hen and Drake Modern Tearoom - (Near Antioch, CA)

Erin Rook Murphy Black garlic tacos and brussel sprouts were amazing! This place always impresses. Went back last weekend, and the food did not disappoint as usual! The tofu bowl was delicious and the wagu beef burger was phenomenal! Came back 7/26, food was delectable as usual! We had the wagu burger and the parmesean black garlic fries! They are STAPLES on their menu!

Conrad Paz Cozy neighborhood spot that serves up excellent Spanish cuisine. A spur of the moment decision led us here since we were in the area. Because we arrived in the mid afternoon, seating was immediate; however, reservations are highly advised (by early evening the place was packed). Tapas we chose (empanada, croquetas, jamon, bravas) were delicious and the paella (one of the evening specials topped with ribeye and pork belly) was fantastic. Oh, we kicked off with the cava sangria...tasty! Also had some Spanish red wine, that accompanied the steak very well. Great evening!

Donna Spiller I love this place! Josh and Margie have great energy and are extremely helpful with motivation! I love the protein smoothies because you can get tons of different flavors and it’s basically a meal! And the B12 energy teas, AMAZING! I’m just starting my journey, but I hope to have results as amazing as theirs!

Jamie Ginsberg The space is airy with lovely lines and clean energy, this could equally describe the food! The presentation is beautiful and if it wasn’t Olivia’s birthday, I’d have taken more photos. Instead, we shared delicious food and stories as we feasted before heading to the Paramount Theater to see John Mulaney (easy walk). The sides of rice are light and flavorful. The lavash disappeared immediately, we should have ordered double. I got all of the vegan dishes and enjoyed each one differently. The cashew sauce with the eggplant, yum. Cashew sauce is usually not my thing and I’d do it again. Right? There is a green chutney I’d like to keep in my life regularly. Why did we have to share???
