Mardee Shackleford Vegan mecca! I love the huge selection of fresh vegan options, and the generous rewards program.
Ive been here several times. The prices are very fair, and Ive already earned 2 free wraps without having spent very much. The pita is heated up on the spot, the falafel is cooked fresh to order. There is a huge selection of hummus and sauces, so I feel like Im getting something new each time. All of the food feels really fresh and healthy, and the atmosphere of the restaurant reflects this. Choose from different grains, multiple greens, proteins, hummus...top with crunchy chickpeas, their delicious coleslaw, and roasted red peppers...and plenty more to choose from. They also have a veggie burger and dollars. The pita portion is huge, but somehow I manage to devour it everytime lol.
The staff is really knowledgeable about ingredients, and Connor has been especially helpful in reminding which sauces are vegan friendly. He always remembers us when we come in, and is very friendly and efficient. He overheard us talking about ketchup and went to the back and brought us some. He also reminds me when I have rewards to use. He really goes above and beyond.
Im so happy to have this restaurant in Turlock and glad for all of the variety it offers for vegetarians and vegans. There are also tons of non-vegan options, making it a great place to go with friends who consume meat.
