The Meltdown - (Near Hanford, CA)

JoHanna Schultz We had dinner with our son. They both had paella, and I had carnita (pictured). We shared empanadas. We also had dessert. I enjoyed my Frank Sinatra cocktail. Services was pleasant and helpful with suggestions.

yung-chin Chen We order ox tails and lamb chops per recommendation of the restaurant for traditional basque food. They are so good. Ox tail is so tender and tasty. It matches the rice well. The lamb chop is also good but volume is smaller and the French fries is so so. We add soup and salad. It is totally worth it. The price is not cheap but with the quality and quantity it is justified. No wonder it has so many good reviews.

Juana Saldana The food at Belly Left was absolutely delicious! The tres brisket tacos were packed with flavor, and the American Wagyu beef bacon cheeseburger was cooked to perfection. The fries? Easily some of the best I’ve ever had. Highly recommend!

Valdemar I came here off-season, so it wasn’t too crowded. The food was delicious — authentic Mexican. They also have one of the largest tequila collections in the world. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the staff are friendly and polite. The restrooms are clean — which says a lot about the place.

Lucy Hog’s was highly recommended to us. The outdoor patio is beautiful with both regular tables and high tops, and the big tree in the center reminded me of a restaurant I once visited in Mexico. It was a quiet Thursday night, and we chose a spot near a heat lamp since it was a bit chilly. It took the staff a little while to figure out who would be taking our order, and they ended up mixing up my friend’s dish without following up. I ordered the Mediterranean salad, which was good. The fresh sourdough bread was excellent, and they offer a variety of flavors. There appears to be an indoor dining room and a separate bar as well. The Clint Eastwood movie posters are displayed since the restaurant used to belong to him before he sold it.
