The Melting Station - (Near Visalia, CA)

Mariah Scholtz Stopped at The Chart Room on our way to the Redwoods and were pleasantly surprised by how great the staff, food, and location were! We even got to watch a few sea lions sunbathing near the restaurant, which made the visit extra special. We ordered the fish and chips, and out of our entire week-long trip, they were hands down the best we had!

Benny Hands down the best Spanish restaurant in town. We are regulars here and always bring our friends, family, and even our dog! Every single item on the menu is delicious. The service is exceptional—the servers are incredibly knowledgeable about the food and drinks. Since the staff is from Spain, it adds such a nice touch of authenticity, and it’s always great chatting with them about their lovely country.

Timothy Te I came here for lunch a few weeks ago after dropping my car off at the dealership for service. I was seated promptly at the bar area. I didn’t know what to order this time around as I usually order the pot roast sandwich as I always do. So I decided to try something different and I ordered the Cuban sandwich with umami fries. The sandwich and fries came out hot enough. The food was good and the hospitality was even better. I’ve gone to other restaurants on Blackstone the same way I dressed that day and some places didn’t even want bother with me as much after I was seated. But over here I felt just as important as any other customer and I appreciated that even more. All in all I had a great lunch and I wanted to leave a review to show my gratitude. I also wanted to say thank you for letting me hang out in the bar a bit longer as I waited for my car and was able to get some of my spreadsheets done for my restaurant. All in all, I definitely recommend this place for lunch and it sits on the top of my list for my favorite Lazy Dog locations around California. The Irvine location is my favorite but the Fresno location is just as good.

Stephen Imbriani After 25 years of experiencing Dukes in Oahu, going to Dukes in California always felt like a bit of an afterthought but this trip changed my mind. Brian is a rockstar behind the bar. He knows everyone and if he doesnt necessarily know you, he makes your stay that much more pleasant. My wife loved her MaiTai, I enjoyed multiple Four Sons brewing Coconutorious amber ale, and the split rib and huli huli chicken completed our huge experience. Im glad my wife suggested it and it made this trip (another funeral) that much more reasonable. Keep it up Dukes.

Kara N Ahi nachos are a must! Huge portion on happy hour. So many taps! I came solo on a Friday night and it was super busy but I still was able to sit at the bar and get prompt service. Ordered the mushroom pizza to go which is also good but I will try pepperoni next time.
