Viewpoint Kitchen + Bar - El Cajon
t abe Had a couple meals at Viewpoint Kitchen + Bar while I was in town for the MSPT at Sycuan, and it definitely hit the mark. The food was consistently good, portions were solid, and it didn’t feel like the typical casino café situation—it had its own vibe.
I had the French toast one morning and it was great. Crispy on the edges, soft in the middle, and that honey butter they serve with it? To die for. I also tried the country fried steak, and it was right on point—crispy, flavorful, and comforting in all the right ways.
The service was quick and friendly, and the menu had a good mix of options whether you wanted something hearty or just a lighter bite. One of my favorite parts was the open, relaxed atmosphere. It was a nice change of pace from the action in the casino—good place to reset before jumping back into the grind.
Whether you’re playing poker, staying at the resort, or just looking for a quality casual spot, Viewpoint is worth checking out. I’d go back without hesitation.
