5 /5 Harry Maneuvers: Ordered a ceasar salad, Greek salad, lamb lollipops and veggie bowl for pickup to share with one other person back at the hotel I was staying at. Pulling up to the restaurant I was a bit skeptical about the lowkey pub/bar vibe but upon getting back to the hotel; was absolutely blown away at the quality, to-go plating/presentation and above all: flavor. ESPECIALLY when considering the prices they charge. Lamb and veggies were cooked PERFECTLY, the portions were generous with the quality of all ingredients being WAY above expectations. Would have easily paid double all things considered. Had it been delivered instead of picked up, I would have thought the restaurant was valet only with a strictly enforced dress code… the food was that good.

Ill be honest - I did not expect that this little restaurant had much going for it other than the fact its the only one within walking distance from Oxnard Shores homes. Im not one for appetizers but our waitress really sold on their nights special, the BBQ CarniFlatbread. Hot, fluffy bread spread with tangy BBQ sauce generously topped with fresh, colorful bell peppers and juicy carne, beautifully arranged to appease the eyes and taste buds. Hot damn, this was an amazing flatbread. The BBQ sauce was so good! The perfect blend of sweet and spicy. 10/10 for this one. For my main course I ordered the Mac & Cheese. This dish is described on their menu as “pasta blessed with The Shore’s own secret dirty blonde cheese sauce. I wanted my bacon loaded ($14.00) but you can also get it Buffalo Style ($14.00) and traditional with roasted panko ($10.00). Oh my, blessed be this pasta. It was heavenly. Delectable soft, creamy cheese with hints of rich cheddar over perfectly cooked pasta that melts in your mouth. The bacon was an excellent addition although I would love the dish either way. I hope to try the Buffalo Mac next time I’m in! My husband was so impressed with the carne on the flatbread, he continued the affair with Carnitas Tacos (slow roasted carnitas, roasted corn, roasted bell pepper, onion, cilantro, feta cheese, chipotle aioli, $15.00). The dish came with two very loaded tacos. I think they could have scaled back on the feta cheese just a little. It was seriously heaping and covered the entire tacos. However, they were delicious! Insane flavor and soft, pillowy tortillas. You only need two to fill you up. 100% recommended! Our server was fantastic and very attentive. She kept the drinks coming fast! Overall, it was a wonderful experience. I truly did not expect them to blow it out of the water like they did. I can’t wait to go back!

5 /5 Blanca Fernandez: Mothers Day brunch !!! This place was available for brunch on Mothers Day !! This was a treat ! Walked in , seated ourselves , ordered a Cadillac margarita !!!!! Off the hook and on point !! These girls make a monster margarita! Love it ! They had a band playing 80s that was a great treat wasnt expecting that ! We danced and sang with the crowd !!!! Everyone had a great ole time ! The service was on point ! Even though it was crowded the girls were still very attentive and on point ! The food was perfect ! Burgers were huge and juicy !!! Fries and onion rings were hot and crispy !! We had such a great time !!! We will definitely be back !! This was a great experience!!!!

4 /5 Jim Leaskey: Hotel staff recommended the Shores Restaurant, and it had good reviews. Got there was only one guy (the GM) running the bar and floor. Hats off to him b/c his supervisor called in and was keeping the doors open. Shortly after we arrived, a large party came in. We ordered our food, and it came pretty quick. Fish was battered perfectly, and the dill tarter sauce was over the top. My wife had a burger and said it was very good. We ended up taking food back to the hotel. Had small talk with the GM, and he told us about live music the next day and invited us back. Unfortunately, we were only there for a day and heading g out. I highly recommend going here.

4 /5 Peter Young: First time trying The Shores Restaurant since I am new to the area. The place was packed but I was able to find a sit at the bar. I ordered the pretzel sticks, fish and chips along with a local amber beer. The food was really good and the bartender was busting his behind to get people served. I will definitely be back.
