Vim Dining and Desserts - (Near Santa Cruz, CA)

Boothe Joshua (Joshua Boothe) We are new to the area and wanted to try the local eateries. We stopped here at Captains Fish Tacos on a whim and are so glad we did. The food was excellent. We had the shrimp ceviche, surf and turf tacos and blackened fish tacos. All were amazing. The black beans and cilantro rice were incredible. Our server, Alejandra, was super friendly and attentive. We will be regulars here for sure.

Orlinity When going to lazy dog to be honest, it’s been a pretty long time since I’ve gone here because it’s pretty far away, but I do wanna say I was pleasantly surprised arriving here on a 9 PM day on a weekday. It was busy, but it wasn’t too busy. I’ve seen restaurants to be this busy and not have enough staff on board to handle on a weekday, but was seated promptly. I did wanna say the only bad experience I had was I was seated in a chair that was pretty well known to have a table that would move a lot so I think that they should just remove that table altogether and also after leaving I did see that another group was sitting there as well. It was moving a lot. It wasn’t a bit a small shift. It was almost a 20° shift from when putting my weight on it. Besides this came for the T-Mobile Tuesday promotion they were very respectful, although they didn’t know exactly how it worked. They were able to answer any questions that I had to the best of their ability. Ashley my server was very attentive and was able to help me and my partner in multiple ways with any questions on the menu. She also explained to me that the tips are distributed by department when I asked, which is what I like for restaurants to do so very happy about that knowing that when I tip that we distributed to the people I wanted to be. For food items the media noodles was pretty surprising very good doesn’t taste like normal media but if you do enjoy beer, you will enjoy it and the Bimbimpop bowl was great as well. We also had a starter of the chicken tiki masala balls very good as well. I do want to say that if you went to the respective restaurant for each of these items, I do think that the taste would be slightly better, but I wanna clarify that I would come here again and order the same thing Not only does it give me the ability to order multiple items that are absolutely amazing, but although it doesn’t taste as good, these items taste extremely good, especially knowing that they have to work with such a large menu excited to come here again

Mert Kucur Very glad I stopped by Hummus during my stay in Palo Alto. Their Lahmacun and Mucver is delicious and Samet was a very attentive and made sure all my needs were met to make my eating experience pleasant. Highly recommend for some top Turkish food and great service.

Brenton Hughes Man. I hate when people say things like “the best I ever had”, because it 97% of the time isn’t true. Maybe my expectations were low because were just waking up and trying to survive, but my wife and I ordered the verde chili breakfast burrito and were pleasantly surprised at how gd delicious it was. The potatoes were created in Gods image, the pork was moi, and for once in my life I did not care about cheese-to-burrito ratio (as much). This is considered a win in my eyes. Im glad we came. I would post photos but the burrito is gone gone.

Emily Ly It’s a great hole in the wall spot! Loved the food and the service. The owner is a sweetheart and I felt so welcomed. When you walk in, it feels like a little family diner. There’s memoirs of family and customers everywhere. Plus the food was delicious! Amazing fish quality! Would 100% come back

We were also lucky enough to enjoy the outdoor dining area, which was charming and made for the perfect, relaxed atmosphere. This place is a must-visit for anyone looking for great food and a wonderful evening ambiance. Highly recommend!
