Graduate Restaurant - Stockton

Rating: 4.1 /5
Elizabeth Wong Fontana Guess what two great institutions are joining forces to bring back family fun in dining? I happened to stop by The Graduate two weeks ago to start up my weekly MANIC MAH JONG MONDAYS group 6:30-8pm, and discovered that two days ago, Mike from the Victory Grill has taken over The Graduate! He plans on bringing back the place to the way is was before the fire: a full sports bar with your favorite alcohol refreshments, family pizza parties, and daily specials (I requested the BBQ Beef Spareribs on Thursdays which were one of my favorites!, and hopefully on Tuesdays or Wednesdays, maybe we could have a Prime Rib special!…just wishful thinking). The bar will be in service by Thanksgiving. Yes, Victory Grill & my Pacific Pedicabs go way back 2013 when Mike grilled the biggest hamburger in Stockton. Come on in & tell Mike that you’re happy to have the ‘real’ Graduate back! And join me in learning to play Mah Jong (it’s easy like Poker & Gin Rummy) on our Manic MAH JONG Mondays 6:30-8pm.

Palermo Restaurant Italian Cucina - Modesto

John Sudderman This place is well worth a visit! The staff are friendly and helpful. The food is excellent and served fresh. Expect to wait a bit while they prepare your food because they are freshly baking items like bread, calzones, etc. They serve freshly backed bread and provide oil and balsamic vinegar while you wait. The portions are generous and the flavors are rich! This place doesnt look like much from the outside, but you will definitely find the food to be far beyond the outside appearance. While the bars on the windows can attest to this place maybe being in a slightly rough area of town, we went during the day and didnt really see anyone loitering on the streets. I did ding the place a little for Atmosphere because of the appearance of the neighborhood in general, being a bit run down, the outside of the restaurant not looking like a nice restaurant (bars on the windows dont help), the inside not having booths, and the decor and ambience not quite hitting the marks. That being said, it is a restaurant and the food is completely worth the visit. Try it yourself and youll know!

Анна Рябиченко I don’t usually leave reviews but this place is awesome! I ordered Golden Tiger and Rainbow Spacial - one of the best rolls I’ve ever tried. Stuff was super nice and welcoming. Definitely 10/10!

Gwen Smith Melissa- she is so great. Get the Hummus! I wouldn’t have even bothered, but my friend told me about it. It is beyond words with the pita bread. I’ll be back. I had the udon carbonera- it was a newer dish- I loved it. The chefs here know culinary flavors. Beautiful place- good music and vibe! Well done.

BSM Great little traditional Italian spot nestled in Little Italy, San Diego. It was my first time in the city and while exploring the area for dinner, I came across this place through Google reviews — so glad I did. The restaurant is very cute and classic, with a pizza parlour downstairs serving authentic Italian pizza. I had the seafood pasta, which was excellent. The complimentary bread was fresh, and I also ordered the bruschetta, served on a perfectly toasted crouton — delicious. The rosé paired really well with the meal. My server was fantastic — very attentive and helpful, especially when recommending seafood options. Overall, I had a very good experience. Not too busy, very authentic, and quality food. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Little Italy.
