Evi-Lynn Byer Young We held our companys holiday party of about 90 people at Donato last night and they knocked it out of the ball park! I have planned many events, but the service at Donato was exceptional. Fantastic customer service, I didnt worry about things prior to the event and was free to enjoy the party during the event. The layout of the restaurant provided such a fun, elegant atmosphere. We were in the back private room and had full run of the bar. The food was amazing! The staff was the best I have ever worked with. They had all the food ready to go and were so attentive to everyones needs. They passed out appetizers, made sure food stations were stocked, cleaned up empty glasses and plates quickly. The bar area was a blast and the bartenders were so friendly and attentive.

Libbie Lots of restaurants fall off after their first few years. Not LV Mar. Their cocktails are exceptional. Their food is elevated and delicious but still approachable. Their staff could not be more kind and consistent. And their prices are appropriate if not a little low given how excellent their menu is. We have been going here for ten years and we have never had an “off” night. My only wish is that they’d dim the lights a bit more and make it more romantic for a date night, but hey, it hasn’t stopped us from coming back again and again!

Karen Rosenthal I have been here a couple times, Im surprised I havent reviewed it yet. This place is really lovely, the food is delicious, it is definitely upscale Mexican food, but the quality is worth the price. Definitely make a reservation, gets really crowded and is very popular. We loved all of our dishes (the mole is outstanding!), and the service was wonderful. Do save room for dessert, I dream about the flan!

Jessie OBrien Love this restaurant! It offers authentic Chinese cuisine with rich favors and generous portions. The staff are friendly and attentive, creating a welcoming dining experience. The atmosphere is warm and comfortable, making it a great spot for family dinners or a night out with friends. Highly recommended for anyone craving quality Chinese food in Redwood City. Parking has to be street parking though.

Takeahike Snow crabs were large and fresh. Great selection of oysters, clams, shrimps. Price was decent at only $30 a person. Kids 10 and under are $12 or less.

Jenny Redo I was walking by at 2pm today (April 8, 2025) when I saw a new, soft, opening for Pamilya for modern Filipino comfort food. This is located in a small strip mall at 756 Woodside Rd, Redwood City, CA. I walked in to find a nice, clean, casual restaurant with very friendly and helpful staff. I asked what to get and they recommended the lunch entree combo. I chose the BBQ chicken with a base of half garlic rice and half pancit canton/bihon (noodles). Then I added mixed veggies, pickled papaya, pickled cucumbers and three pork/shrimp lumpias. (They have many other protein entrees, sides, toppings, and desserts!). I ate the lumpias with the sweet and sour sauce first and liked that they weren’t greasy at all. The BBQ Manilla chicken was served on sticks (like a kabob) and was fantastic! They sauce we just perfect, they had a nice sear on the outside yet still moist on the inside. Both base choices of the garlic rice and the pancit could have been warmer but I did come at the end of lunchtime so that might have been the issue but they tasted nice and were perfectly cooked. The pickled papaya and the pickled cucumbers were sooooo good and served cold. While my lunch cost me about $21.00, it was at least two meals worth and I brought the extra home. I look forward to going back there!

XIAO QUN HUANG The whole experience was pleasant. Order was easy, just through the app and paid. Soon received update text msg from the restaurant regarding the order status. I was surprised when I arrived for pick up. First time ordering, instead of a walk into a restaurant, I needed to scanned the QR code to inform my arrival. A man showed up , he is very friendly. Verified my name and order number. Then he went back to get my order. The whole pick up experience was smooth and pleasant. The foods were as good as just like what I expected, Taiwanese food. I will definitely order again.

Rheddy Setgo Excellent service from a very welcoming owner. Love the tasty Beef/Lamb Kafta, in house made bread and hummus. Their hot sauce is a killer! Love it all. Worth a visit every week!

Felicia Asuncion Everything about this restaurant was a great experience. The place was clean, and our waiter was awesome. The staff also worked as a team in bringing and cleaning up our food. The food was fresh and delicious. I really enjoyed my grilled New Year steak 12 oz. Try it out, you wont regret it! We also had dessert, and that was really good as well. Its called warm bread pudding with vanilla ice cream. I recommend making a reservation.

Mark Mattson Food was amazing, they have 4 sauces available along with free jalapeños, pickles &pickled red onions. Got the Brisket, Ribs & jalapeño / cheese sausage. Its a little pricey but well worth the treat. This was $40
