SHINE WATKINS Ambiance 5/5 Hygiene 5/5 Food 5/5 First of all i would return for the hospitality of Julian alone!! He is an asset for sure from the time we walked in we were greeted, fed a delicious sample (just when I thought I knew what I was going to order), he circled the dining room to ensure everyone felt like the vip customer, tidying, and making suggestions. He opened doors, wished those happy birthday, interacted effortlessly professional and personable! Music was great but also at the perfect level providing an experience but low enough to speak comfortably. Bathrooms tables floors were clean and inviting! Food: lean brisket sandwich, ribs & brisket two meat sampler cornbread collards cornbread corn mash duo. Brownie & mud pie for desert. It was filling, not heavy, flavorful, and a variety of sauces to slather your meal to your hearts desire. As if singing, doing the food dance, and enjoying my time wasn’t enough Julian made my first visit unforgettable with a small token that made my week!

Justin Matthews My wife and I went here on our 11th anniversary. We were sitting on the beach and wanted to get some seafood and looked this restaurant up. It is such a good vibe. The waitresses and hosts are amazing. We got to deal with Dusty and Lana. They were phenomenal. The scenery was amazing. The food was even better. This was our favorite part of the trip of being down in Florida for a whole week.

Jay Thomas We absolutely love this Old Salty Dog location near St. Armands Circle in Sarasota. The restaurant is waterfront and right next to a marina/boat yard and marine center. There are always boats being launched, refueling, or just cruising by. On a sunny day, it is a perfect waterfront spot in Sarasota to boat watch. The Pelicans are always swooping for fish and putting on a show for restaurant guests. You can also occasionally see jelly fish, we just saw a couple hundred swimming by on our last visit. Rain or shine, Old Salty Dog is always worth a visit. The patio gets the perfect amount of sun on a sunny day with light sun shades, a gulf breeze, and the perfect sunset back drop. On rainy days, you might have to wait a minute for an inside table or seat at the bar because they stay busy, but it is worth the wait. As the name implies, they are known for their deep fried hot dogs and dog bites which are always a favorite. The burgers also hit the spot for a change up and the seafood doesn’t disappoint. If you’re looking for a frozen drink on a hot day, a delicious rum runner, or just a beer they have something for everyone. The parking lot gets full pretty quick with limited spaces while they are working on the building next door, but additional lots are across the street and a short 2 minute walk. We’d highly recommend Old Salty Dog for a casual waterfront restaurant in Sarasota with good food, good drinks, and the ability to come in your swim suit by boat or car.

DLC Fishin Busy place at happy hr. NY Eve. Arrived at 415 pm and 3 tables available and 2 servers. Food was delish, server did their best to keep up. Sushi is excellent, no complaints. Left server a good tip for the additional effort!

Allen Adams This restaurant is fabulous! The Cubana style menu was fantastic! My fiancé and I tried it for lunch on Saturday 11th of Oct, and enjoyed it so much, we came back with more of our family on Sunday for dinner! How about our server, Ana Christina, who served us for lunch, was our server for dinner that next night and was just as awesome as she was the day before. Food was fantastic. The live music & DJ was hitting on point with the music! I recommend to any and everyone to come to Estefans Kitchen in Orlando FL. @ Sunset Walk!!

Cara Zuraski Instantly captured by the aesthetic and decor of this place when we passed by in the car so we parked and went in. Friendly staff. Service was a little slow. And the drinks were mid but I just had a rosé and my husband had a gin and tonic. The lobster was beautifully cooked, asparagus was perfect. Just needed a little salt. And the risotto (not pictured) was cheesy, creamy and tangy. Lovely. We also shared the spring rolls which were piping hot. The place is well designed with high quality furnishings. It feels open and expensive. Dinner for 3 with 3 drinks, 2 apps, 3 meals and 2 desserts = $200 before tip.
