Thomas Tector I don’t often take the time to leave reviews. I ordered 10 smoked wings with sweet potato fries and hush puppies, and added the salad bar. These were the best smoked wings I have ever had. Homemade hush puppies were amazing. Sweet potato fries were also amazing. Salad bar was fresh and has all the items most everyone loves. The food here was exceptional. My server Sherri (sp?) was also very friendly and helpful, and she made me feel at home. This place is an absolute gem. Food and service is amazing. Highly recommend. I can’t wait to go back.

AM Hearn Gets busy for lunch around 11:45. Great variety of food and it was hot and steamy. Food had a great flavor for everything I tried. The fried chicken has that "real fried" flavor. The cheeseburger was my favorite along with the mac-n-cheese.

Kat Page This place never disappoints me!!! A bit pricey, but it is Beach Drive, so I expect that. Two years in a row dining here for brunch and I coming back for the appetizers alone! The brussel sprouts were divine and the mac and cheese with gouda, bacon and jalapeño, please, that was the star of the show! The tomato soup was perfect for a chilly day and a huge portion. The burgers were cooked perfectly and the croque monsieur was another highlight! This place is perfect for tourists and locals to eat good food and people watch! Also, check out their bakery next door, you wont walk out without buying something!

Mike P Havana Vieja on a Monday at 3 p.m. was quiet in the best way. Paula, our very friendly server, welcomed us and let us choose any table. We ordered ropa vieja tacos, empanadas, a corn tamal, a kiwi mojito, and tres leches. The clear standout was the ropa vieja tacos—packed with flavor and honestly some of the best I’ve ever had. I immediately regretted not ordering the full ropa vieja dish. The empanadas were very good, just overshadowed by the tacos. Tres leches followed as the next favorite. The tamal was good, just not the highlight. The restaurant has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, and being in South Beach makes it easy to find. My hotel gave me a 15% discount card, and while there’s a 20% service fee, Paula’s great service made it feel well worth it. On the pricier end for a Cuban restaurant, but I’d definitely come back. Highly recommend.

Pam Duncan From the moment you walk in, you are immersed in the festive atmosphere that New Orleans is known for. From giant Mardi Gras beads to a colorful art and jester heads, this restaurant offers great food and atmosphere. We were seated promptly, great service when our server offered to half our chicken sandwich with lemon sauce(very good), promptly brought out our side that was originally incorrectly brought out. The restaurant is rated top 5 for their onion rings. I would have to agree as an onion ring frequent eater. They have thick cuts of onion rings with crispy breading that isn’t just salted, but spiced with Italian seasoning and buttermilk in the breading. The honey-crystal shrimp was delicious but be warned that the hard shell tails are under the batter so don’t put the whole shrimp in your mouth before removing the tail. I e had the debris spring roll which came with a rich gravy. I didn’t like the spring roll myself because of the heaviness of the meat inside but it was a unique dish. They also have an outdoor covered patio in front of the restaurant.

Sherri-Lynn Bunn THE BEST CRUNCHY AND FLAVORFUL CHICKEN IN ALL OF FLORIDA. We have traveled al over Florida pretty hard the past 3 years, north to south. My quest for great chicken and heat has finally been achieved. I will detour on my travels just to visit here from now on. Husband got tenders with med heat and I went for the Why?! Cannot say enough good. Teas sooo hot and sooo delicious. Shaqs Big Chicken just got knocked down a few pegs. Sorry, not sorry at all! The sides were all great too! The best out mac n cheese Ive had anywhere. Corn was tasty. Slaw could use a bit more tang but still quite nice. The greens very nice as well. Josh brought us some banana pudding to try and it was probably the best Ive had of that too! These folks should be very proud of their little establishment! If you get a chance to visit them, you just must! Even got a great tshirt!
