Azteca Doro Mexican Restaurant Lakeland -Food CA (Near Lakeland)

Rylee J Grabbed a bite here the other night and lovedddd this place! The food is insane. Birria grilled cheese was incredible. Cuban was “the best he’s ever had in his life” according to my brother who eats a lot of cubans. Hand breaded and battered chicken tenders were 11/10. But my favorite thing was the vibe - this bar made me feel like I was at MacLaren’s from How I Met Your Mother. Niche reference but basically I just mean I would love to live near this bar so I could frequent it with friends and have a booth that we regular. Wait staff was super cool too, one of them recommend a cool music event nearby to us. Try Galley!!

mfranch87 I am from ATL area and love to go to little know places. This is a great little diner. We got the chicken pot pie and chicken & eggs benedict. Both were VERY tasty. Generous portions and we even had left overs cause couldn’t eat all of the pot pie. Waitress was nice and great service too. Well worth it and would go again.

So one of my coworkers told me that I should try out this food here, so I gave it a try, had the Philly cheese steak with the fries that come with the Nacho sauce, lets start with the fact that the Nacho sauce with the cheese is on point, fries were good, didnt even need no salt I added nothing to it, dipping them in the cheese was an extra bonus, Philly cheese steak is filling enough that I was only able to eat half today and half tomorrow and only eat half the fries. The food was piping hot when I received it, taste amazing. I love this food, and this could be a big problem for me, because I loved the food so now I will be eating here often when I eat out.

Sarah Alyse We are frequent goers of this location & typically service is sub-par… However, Ashley G was absolutely phenomenal! From the moment she greeted my kids & I, her kindness & genuine warmth set the tone for an incredible breakfast. She was attentive, anticipated our needs & made sure every detail was perfect. Her service was seamless, professional & delivered with such care that it truly elevated our entire meal. Ashley’s attention to our table made us feel valued & welcomed & it’s rare to encounter service that feels this thoughtful & sincere. She is a true asset to the establishment, we’ll definitely be back because of her.

Christine P Wish we had come here sooner! What a great experience. Food and service were phenomenal. Our server was so kind and patient. Clearly took pride in the food being served and was happy to explain things to us and recommend what to try. We both ended up with lunch specials which included your meat, a rice option and a side as well as a drink. Husband had the pernil with pigeon rice and sweet plantains. I had the chicken breast with white rice and tostones. Get their chimichurri sauce…. tastiest I’ve had!
