The worst part of tonight’s experience is trying to figure out what to choose because there were sooooooo many great choices! My son had the brisket and macaroni and he said the sauce was the best and had a unique wonderful taste! My husband had the barbecue pulled pork platter and he too said it was the best barbecue pulled pork he had ever had. I had the BLT with fries and it was the best BLT I have ever had! The Jalapeño poppers were a great start to the meal. My daughter had half a chicken quesadilla and she said it was great! The owner and cook even sat with us for a while…how cool is that!

5 /5 David Sawyer: We had a surprisingly great experience here. Im cracker white and the love of my life isnt. We have dealt with racism in small towns and way off the beatin path establishments in the past. A staff member Crystal Gayle was outside as we pulled up to the front. She waved at us and smiled a big smile. She went about her business and headed inside. The customer leaving next to us also waved. He was like me. I left my love in the car and proceeded inside. Crystal was just as gregarious once I was inside. She stated she was a little disappointed we both didnt come in. I explained my concerns. Crystal almost didnt allow me to finish. "We dont tolerate that here. Everyone is welcome. We are all family." Ordered the 1/2 lb burger with the works and fries to go. We could not have been more pleased. This establishment is rustic. With a hodgepodge of chot-chees nick nacks or whatever you call them. There is plenty of room for large parties. There is an outdoor bar. The staff was very kind. They waved and smiled to my love. I had seen reviews and although we dont live in the area. My thought was when we are. We should give it a try. If you live in Vero or St.Cloud and travel 441 to Okeechobee or vice-versa. I strongly recommend stopping in and getting a bite. Last but not least. How many establishments state they have the coldest beverages and best food? Almost every one of them. Inside near the cash register is a jacket hanging. It states, "warm beer, lousy food." Nothing could be further from the truth.

3 /5 Howie Alli: Dont understand why such a high rating on Google. It is a hole in the wall place but it was clean and servers friendly and efficient. Just found the food to be average tasting. The peanut butter pie was the highlight and I would highly recommend. It came out frozen but enjoyed it.

5 /5 Sharon Perkins: Okeechobee, FL. Wow! Great restaurant, awesome food, friendly service from Laura and the owner, parking spot for veterans, fun vibe, so stop here if you can. I had the trio salad because after Christmas travels I was tired of rich food and fast food. The owner served up freshly made egg salad, plus chicken salad and tuna salad on mixed greens with tomatoes and onions. The ranch dressing was homemade! Everything tasted so good! Plus they had a sign up for homemade peanut butter pie. I had to get that for Steve. It was fresh and good. I haven’t had good peanut butter pie since we lived in Nebraska. You just don’t see it as much in Florida. Highly recommend this establishment.

5 /5 K C: Fantastic food at reasonable prices. Everything is fresh made. The home made jalapeño poppers were great. Had to get them after reading other reviews. Swiss Mushroom Burger was fresh made and cooked perfectly. Shepard Pie was also delicious. I would describe our lunch as comfort food with a gourmet flair. Definitely worth the stop. Home made Key Lime Pie was a very tasty ending.
