James Ponicsan We stopped here for the first time after leaving the Ocala art festival. We were quite pleased. The service was great. We enjoyed good sized, tasty portions. We were too full for desert. We didnt have reservations and were seated rather quickly. I will point out though, this was around 3 PM, so Im guessing we got in before the dinner crowd started showing up. It might be a good idea to look into reservations to avoid being disappointed. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant.

katherine owens Shyanne my waitress was amazing! Very pleasant, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. I overheard her talking to other customers and she was nothing but kind. The food and atmosphere was great as well. Highly recommend the chips and guac and their caesar salad.

Joseph Megie I had an incredible dining experience, and I want to give a special shoutout to our waitress DD. She was attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home from the moment we sat down. Her excellent service truly enhanced our meal. And speaking of the meal—wow! The pot roast was absolutely the best Ive ever tasted. Tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection, it practically melted in my mouth. The savory gravy, perfectly seasoned vegetables, and hearty meat made for a truly comforting and memorable dish. Thanks to DD for the fantastic service and to the kitchen for the outstanding pot roast—definitely a must-try for anyone craving a comforting, delicious meal. Well be back soon!

Tyler Hall This place was awesome! Food was incredible, one plate of boil was enough for 2 of us. Be prepared, it is cash only. Was fortunate enough to have a few beers and chat with Mr. Skully himself after dinner. He is a very kind and generous man. Definitely check it out if youre staying on or near the cape!

Bill Sikora Oh my goodness. How many times I passed this place after fishing the St. Marks and never once stopped in. I have heard good things so my wife and I made a go of it and it was WELL worth it! My wife had the Smoked Mullet and I had the Shrimp Wrapped in Bacon. We also split some hush puppies and some Smoked Mullet Dip and everything was absolutely delicious. The establishment is definitely a locals hangout and the beer is nice and cold. Looking for someone different to eat, check out Ouzts’ Too. You won’t be disappointed!!!

Christy Collins What an exceptional experience at Vergina. Food was amazing and the entertainment absolutely astounding. Svetlana was our server; she is wonderful. The supporting staff assisted her incredibly well, staying on top of bussing and keeping the table cleared. I cannot say enough about the entertainment with Luis Mejia, Flamenco and belly dancing. Incredible. Food was beautifully plated and so delicious. Were looking forward to bringing more friends and family. Its a truly remarkable dining event.
