5 /5 World Traveller: Visited mid November 2025. It’s a nice place to visit. The staff is friendly and made us feel welcome. The pier is located behind the restaurant. The beach faces east so it’s great for a sunrise. They have another restaurant in the area as well. The food is over priced. 3 small tasteless street tacos for $27 is outrageous. $8 for Italian bread. The signature Max’s Pineapple pina colada is served in a hollowed out pineapple and tastes great, it costs $22. It’s not necessarily a place for little kids especially in the evening. Bringing small kids for breakfast or lunch is fine IMHO.

4 /5 Tatyana Davis: Beautiful day and view with amazing food. We were seated right away upstairs and had a great view. (Late lunch at 3:30pm)The shrimp was flavorful and filling. Worth the price. The fried fish was tasty too. The tartar sauce was delicious. Would highly recommend. The only downside was the bathrooms were a-mess with wet toilet paper and paper towels everywhere on the ground.

4 /5 Kimberly Gernhard: Very nice space. Nice Outdoor area across from the beach. Service was good. Food is a little overpriced. They forgot to put in our Conch Fritters in so we got food 1st, Mahi Tacos came out & make sure you have a napkin. It also tasted dried out. For almost $30 they should have been amazing. I sent it back & ordered the Cuban, which the waiter was great about, Cuban came out and was very good. Husband got the Tuna Sushi power bowl & it was also very good. Conch Fritters finally came & they are very good, little spicy, but very good and taste fresh. Also, I didnt like that we were here during happy hour (3pm-6pm, as listed on there menu) and we wanted to order happy hour specials. We were told "sorry you can only order that inside. It is inside only". Not only does it not say that on the menu but how can you have happy hour only for inside guests. I would have to cash out, move tables and then I could order. This does not make much sense to me. If that is the case then it should say "Happy Hour for inside guest only". Just a thought. Was kind of disappointed that I have to pay much more just because we were sitting outside. Our server asked & manager said no, sorry. We would have to come in 20 feet to get that price.

Overall, it was a fine visit, and I’d definitely come back for another easy evening by the water.
