3 /5 Christa Bennett: We visited Blue Moon Fish for brunch to celebrate my mother-in-law’s birthday. I’ll start by saying this is definitely not a place I would normally splurge on, so $273 for brunch for two people was pretty shocking to me. That said, the overall experience was nice. The atmosphere was pleasant and the waitstaff was attentive and professional throughout the meal.
As for the food, it was good, but for the price point I honestly expected better quality. The prime rib was very fatty, and even the staff member carving it seemed to struggle to find a solid piece worth cutting. The salmon was decent, the mashed potatoes were delicious, and the sushi was good. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience, but given the cost, it didn’t quite live up to the expectations that come with such a high price tag
