wagamama, water st, tampa - Tampa
Sara Donahue My friend had been so excited to bring us here and talked it up nonstop, so I finally had to try it and I’m so glad I did! Everything was absolutely delicious. For drinks, my boyfriend and I ordered the orange juice blend with mango and apple, which was super refreshing. We ended up ordering three servings of the chicken gyoza because they were that good—hands down the best I’ve had anywhere.
I ordered the steak noodles (I can’t remember the exact name), which had a bit of a kick, and my boyfriend got the chicken version. When the waitress noticed the spice level was a little too much for me, she was incredibly kind and even took $11 off our bill, which we really appreciated. For dessert, I tried the banana katsu. I personally enjoyed the ice cream more than the fried banana, but together it was still very tasty.
I would absolutely come back if I’m ever in Tampa again and would highly recommend this place—just be mindful of the spice level!
