Wyrd Woman Great Vibes! Went here yesterday for take out. I ordered 2 loaded beef/lamb swarma fries. The swarma was perfect coupled with all the cold toppings and hot crisp fries makes a really great dish. Portions were huge! We could have split one. All the sauces were great. We got the garlic and hot garlic sauce plus sides of tzatziki and tahini. The garlic sauce was milder than a lot of garlic sauces Ive had (i really go for the ones that taste like pulverized garlic and thats it) the hot garlic was more up my alley as it had quite a kick. The tzaiki was thinner with excellent flavor. The tahini had herbs added which took it up a level from basic tahini. I also got a piece of carrot cake. I will never be the same. Best carrot cake Ive had in at least a decade. It is a carrot cake with all the flavor of a spice cake and the creamiest icing. It was such good take out we went back for dinner today. We got an order of the loaded lamb/beef swarma fries because they were so good yesterday. We also got kabobs: beef, lamb and the kafta. All cooked perfectly. The kaftan is something special, the spices in it give it an unusual depth of flavor I havent had in kafta before. We ordered too much and took half to go plus a piece of carrot cake. The food is top notch as is the service. The place has a really great atmosphere. There isnt just an artist in the kitchen. The whole place has an artist feel. There is original art on the walls. All kinds of little details in the decor. Even the promotional info posters for dishes are done by someone with and eye for graphic design. The takeout boxes were cool looking black boxes. The outside seating is picnic tables and it is right on US1 so it might not always be the best. I heard someone say there was a wreck recently and ended up in the outside seating area.

Alejandros - Brooksville

Katerina Stopped by Alejandros for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. It’s located in a plaza, so I didn’t expect the interior to be so festive and nicely decorated. Fun atmosphere! We came in for brunch and were greeted by kind, welcoming staff. It feels like a family-run place, and the service was warm and attentive. We ordered the steak and eggs, chicken fajitas, Mahi Mahi and shrimp, and a side of guacamole. The guac came in the cutest bowl and was a large portion. Everything came out hot, fresh, and flavorful, with generous portions all around. Great first experience. We’ll definitely be back!

Common Grounds Coffee Shop - Clewiston

Vicki Shamblin We stopped for breakfast for the first time and really enjoyed everything about the coffee shop. Not only was the food excellent but so was the decor, ambiance, set up and the service was also just as outstanding. Even our fellow customers all greeted us when we entered. Common Grounds deserves more than five stars!

C. I always enjoy going to this burger king. The fries are hot, workers are friendly, and the food is fast. Plus the lady that works there always offers me a crown which heck yes.
taste of dixie diner

Taste of Dixie Diner - Cross City

Rating: 4.4 /5
K Stroud We are early-to-rise travelers and were looking for a place that was open for breakfast. When the word “Diner” is in the title you should know what to expect. The crowded parking lot at 6:00 a.m. also confirmed our expectations: this was gonna be a great breakfast hangout. We were greeted right away by our waitress who promptly served us hot coffee. We both ordered the egg , meat, grits and toast option. It was served quickly and precisely like we asked: Eggs were perfectly over-medium; bacon and sausage delicious; and grits/hashbrowns done right. The Dixie Diner is not fancy but when you’re hungry and want a good, cooked-to-order breakfast at a reasonable price in a clean setting, this is the place to go. This little hidden gem is a place we will come back to on our frequent trips down Route 19. I look forward to experiencing lunch/dinner.

Waffle House - Madison

Barry Gardner The waitress was extremely polite and went above and beyond, the cook is top-notch and I have four kids, two of them are very young and the employees didnt mind that the little ones were wandering around playing with the jukebox and sitting at the counter seats watching everything. Some places I have been to get grouchy with the little ones but not this waffle House, they let the kids be kids. This is by far the best waffle House that Ive ever been to with the best food with the best waitress and the best cook and the friendliest atmosphere. Thank you for being so kind and professional.
