Aisha Chambers My husband and I dined at Family Coastal Restaurant in Eastpoint, Florida yesterday and had an excellent experience from start to finish. I ordered the fried shrimp platter with fries and okra, and my husband had the fried fish with fries and okra—everything was fresh, perfectly cooked, and absolutely delicious. The portions were generous and the flavors were spot on. Our server, Virginia, truly made the experience exceptional. She was attentive, friendly, and provided outstanding service throughout our meal. We highly recommend Family Coastal Restaurant for great food and top-notch service, and we will definitely be returning.

Florida Veteran “Bar Louie: ‘We’re too much fun!’ — Bartender looks like she’s serving drinks on day 7 of a hostage crisis… it feels like I just walked into a DMV with liquor! I have been to a lot of bars, but I’ve never seen a place work this hard to kill the vibe. Bar Louie sells itself as “too much fun to be a restaurant,” yet the bartender looked like she was being forced to serve drinks at gunpoint. Zero energy, zero effort, zero personality, but full entitlement when it comes to tips. If your entire industry is people, interaction, and atmosphere, maybe don’t put someone behind the bar who clearly hates all three. I shouldn’t feel like I’m inconveniencing someone by ordering a drink. That’s literally your only job in this building. This generation keeps asking why tipping culture is dying, this is why. You don’t get rewarded for existing behind a bar. You get rewarded for bringing life to it.

Alicia Blevins We decided to go out for lunch today and just so happens we havent eaten here yet. But let me tell you I am sure glad we chosen it today. The food was absolutely amazing. Sweet potato fries were spot on. Definitely recommend it if you havent tried it.

On warm nights when you can sit outside, the atmosphere couldnt be better - definitely ask for outside and try to get a Tiki hut for the full unique experience. Weve had great service here, but our last visit was less-than great service. However, sitting in a Tiki hut looking at the water makes up for it. If you have a wait, walk down the dock to the bar and grab a drink and listen to live music while you wait. It all makes for a lovely night!

Sandy R We tried the Marguerite savory crepe, the breakfast sandwich, and the banana nut French toast. Each dish had its own unique flavor, even with shared ingredients. The French toast was especially memorable—light yet layered, with perfectly ripe banana, sliced almonds, and whole walnuts dusted in powdered sugar. Our server, Madison, was outstanding—warm, knowledgeable, and makes a mean cappuccino: dry, balanced, and authentically foamy (not a latte in disguise). We stopped in early Sunday morning the jazz playing softly in the background, created a relaxing, elegant start to the day. A charming spot that delivers both flavor and hospitality.

Buck Matt I wish I had it fresh. I ordered uber delivery, I live down in Flagler towards Ormond. So it took a bit to get to me. It was cold but still tasted delicious. I bet it would’ve melted in our mouths if it was hot and fresh. The nuts and bolts was fabulous. Still one of the best tasting pies I’ve ever had. High quality ingredients.
