Jeremy Sheffey I was disappointed the first time I visited Urban Prime—but the new management is absolutely killing it. Their first “Bourbon at the Urban” event this past weekend was a 10/10 experience. The food was five-star across the board, with standout pairings like peppercorn-crusted venison loin with Booker’s “Jerry’s Batch,” smoked honey bourbon lamb chops with Wild Turkey Rare Breed, and bourbon-glazed beef tartare with Elijah Craig Barrel Proof. Each dish was paired perfectly with top-shelf bourbon, and Lindsay, the Sommelier, and whiskey specialist, guided us through each pour with passion and precision. Add in fireplaces, a live jazz band, and flawless service—and you’ve got one of the best dining experiences in town. Can’t wait for the next one.
