Burntwood Tavern -Food CA (Near Fort Myers)

Eric We have been here a few times and the food is always good. They sometimes have a DJ/singer that plays good music, which always makes it fun, although sometimes the music is a bit too loud. I think lunch and dinner music should be loud enough to hear and enjoy, but not so loud that you have to raise your voice to have a conversation, which is the only reason I gave it 4 stars for atmosphere since thats just my opinion. But the food and service are always great! We had the fish and chips, french dip, and the salmon and they were all delicious! The cole slaw was especially good, and thats not as easy to do as it sounds. Some make it too sweet, some make it too bland, but the Tidehouse makes it just perfect. Prices are comparable to other water-side restaurants in the area, and as I said, the staff is always friendly and the food always comes out hot and tasty. We always sit outside so we have a great view of the water and the boats sailing by, and the complimentary valet takes the stress out of trying to find parking. In addition to that, they have an elevator that takes you right from the valet station up to the restaurant, which was very helpful for my disabled mother. The only suggestion I would make would be to perhaps put a little less breading on the fish for the fish and chips. But we have enjoyed it each time we have come here and would definitely recommend it!

Curtis Harmon The majority of the sushi places in Pensacola are basic. This place has unique sushi that tastes incredible. I have tried sushi all over the world (including Japan and Okinawa) and this is my favorite place in the Pensacola/Milton/Pace area.

Rosa Teng The view is nice and staff are very friendly. We were here for the breakfast, their Benedict eggs were really good! Though they can get pretty busy in the morning, but I think the service, food, and view are worthy for the wait (and price).

Andrea Doria Ainhoa, Angelica and Juan were absolutely amazing. They were so patient with me and helping me order. Also, they made sure I was at the right restaurant to pick up my order or it would’ve been somewhere else. I’m not sure if this is a corporate office or someone owns this KFC but they should be recognized for their kindness.

Tanner Clarkson Excellent BBQ and the best fried green tomatos around! I only need to add BBQ sauce on pulled pork/chicken, but everything else is well seasoned and flavorful! Service is quick and good about checking on you. My drink is never empty, which I greatly appreciate. The atmosphere is fine; what I appreciate the most is the cleanliness of the place. From the restroom to the kitchen, you can see that a clean restaurant is a priority. I also like that they are conscious of cross contamination, e.g. when handling money they wash their hands or put new gloves on.

Mariela Guzman We went to positano for a family members birthday - it was amazing ! It feels like a true piece of Italy, we were served by Giuseppe whom gave us great options and was extremely attentive. From the appetizers to drinks, main courses, dessert and more. The staff, atmosphere and food was top tier! Will definitely be coming back.
