Captains Table Fish House Restaurant - (Near Panama City, FL)

5 /5 Ellis Dwayne (TheCaptain): I have tried a few restaurants in the area and I have to recommend Captains Table for anyone looking for some great food and service. I had a horseradish snapper and it was delicious. Service was fantastic and on point, restaurant was the cleanest one Ive seen so far and Id say if you have not been here make a point to go, you wont regret it. Desserts were really good too.

5 /5 Jamie Rhine: We ordered 3 appetizers and 2 adult meals and a kids meal. The hush puppies were excellent, not an after thought. The cold shrimp peel and eat were good, not the biggest but good, the crab cakes were excellent and the fried green tomatoes were also excellent. The stuff shrimp were so good. The scallops were good and okra. Definitely we go back.

5 /5 just no 0: Incredible fried oysters! And, we were lucky enough to get the last 3 orders of filet scamp (grilled and fried). Cajun pasta was just heavenly. You cant go wrong with anything on the menu -- Cheese grits, Crab fingers, and Hushpuppies were absolutely tasty, and the great service was just icing on the cake! We spent about $50 per person, but it was worth it.

5 /5 Williams Holly (Chris & Holly): We visited the restaurant around 4:30 PM and were seated immediately. The staff was friendly, and the place was very clean and welcoming. Our server, Heather, was fantastic—attentive, friendly, and quick to meet our needs. We started with the tuna dip appetizer, which was very good and full of flavor. For our meals, I had the horseradish crusted grouper with new potatoes and cheese grits. The grouper was phenomenal—perfectly cooked and well-seasoned. The cheese grits were creamy and flavorful, though the new potatoes could’ve used a bit more seasoning. My husband ordered the blackened grouper throats, and they were cooked to perfection—tender and flavorful. He did mention that the sweet tea wasn’t quite sweet enough for his liking, but that was a minor complaint. One of our girls ordered the popcorn shrimp basket, and the portion size was huge. She really enjoyed it and had left ibers to take home. One of them got the grilled mahi mahi and couldn’t stop talking about how good the coleslaw was—fresh, creamy, and sweet. Once we tried the hushpuppies, we immediately placed an order for more. They were perfectly sweet with just the right amount of crisp on the outside. Overall, a great dining experience with quality seafood, friendly service, and a relaxed atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back!

5 /5 Dana Gilliam: We went for dinner and from the time we walked in to the time we left, everything was fantastic! So much so that we are thinking we will go back tomorrow night! Crab claws were yummy! Crab cakes were some of the best I’ve had. Blackened red snapper was superb! And the bread pudding with ice cream—OH MY! Our waitress was so kind and helpful and made the experience even better! If you’ve not tried this place, you NEED TO!
