Charlies Family Restaurants - (Near Lakeland, FL)

5 /5 Aaron Butts: We were in Lakeland this morning and just happened upon Charlies for breakfast. The staff was very nice and attentive. They must have a few regulars since the staff not only knew their name but their likely order. Everything was fresh and tasted delicious. Im very picky about how the sausage and gravy taste, im from up north, and the waitress assured me it was good. She was correct. We will be returning when we are in the area next. It was also very clean.

1 /5 Robert Monti: First AND last visit. Was having service done at Regal Honda. Walked over to the restaurant and walked in, was told to sit wherever. Got coffee in the first two minutes and then….. nothing. The waitress walked over to the table in font of me after 5 minutes and took her order, then walked away to put it in. She then grabbed a coffee pot and walked all around me filling cups. Never stopped at my table though. The. She put the pot back and disappeared. I got up and walked out .of a bad experience. Horrible customer service.

5 /5 Intense Team: The food is fresh and cooked exactly to your order. You get a lot of food for your money and ther we is a good variety of home style dishes to choose from. The cost is very reasonable. Once you go there a few times, youre treated like family. The servers are very friendly and accommodating. The owner is a sweet lady who cooks all the food in the back and pops out of the kitchen every now and then to make sure everyone enjoys her cooking. Its a real small yet very popular place, so expect to sometimes wait a little while to be seated. But its worth the wait. A great little mom & pop type of restaurant. We bring our 3 grandsons to eat there a lot on Saturdays and they love the food as well. If youre looking for a small, good, old-fashioned, and friendly place to eat... This is the place!

5 /5 W Fermier: I took my car in for service early this morning and rather than wait at the dealer, I asked to be dropped off at a local restaurant for breakfast. So here I am at Charlie’s Family Restaurant by Dee located at 2614 Lakeland Hills Blvd., Ste 8 in the northern end of Lakeland. This is a relatively small restaurant located at the end of a strip mall. The staff were friendly and welcoming when I arrived. They have a large menu featuring breakfast served all day. (They also have a lunch menu.) I ordered a feta and spinach 3-egg omelet which came with a side of hash browns and a house made biscuit, served sliced in half, buttered, and grilled! Yum! To round out my meal I ordered crispy bacon and a glass of orange juice. The restaurant was busy and the waitstaff were all helping each other out so things ran like a well-oiled machine. The omelet was delicious, and the hash browns were crispy and well browned! The rashers were paper thin but crispy, the way I like them. I was very satisfied with my meal and will not hesitate to return and try more of their offerings! (Like I said, the menu is huge!)
