Clear Sky Cafe - (Near Clearwater, FL)

Cyd R Good and fresh seafood, popular with the locals and we enjoyed it too. Not fancy at all, just good food that you order and pay for at the counter when you enter. Friendly staff and great service. We ordered the butterfly shrimp and fried catfish. Our sides were tossed salad, baked beans, French fries and squash, all of which were good. They serve beer and wine. The key lime pie was very good. We were full after just a few bites of our meal so we took the rest home. I guess if it aint broke dont fix it but I thought some background music would be nice.

Kourtney Coleman I have been here twice on previous trips and couldnt wait to get back to it. We got there first thing Saturday dinner. So there wasnt the Sunday brunch crowd. The fried green tomatoes were delicious as usual, so they have food consistency! We tried a variety of things. The mixed appetizer platter. Everything was great and really can be ordered as one person’s meal. I was told the hamburger was a 4 out 5. The oxtails and gouda grits were a 4 out of 5. The fried catfish over grits was a 5 out of 5. The waffles and chicken were a 4.5. All of the dishes were so much food that we had takeout containers except for the burger.

Heather Wolfe I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food since the new owner took over! The lobster macaroni and cheese was quite impressive. Lots of lobster and a good mix of cheeses. I have to say it was some of the best guacamole I’ve had anywhere and I’m a Mexican food snob! Also was impressed with the huge tasty shrimp in their bang bang shrimp version. Beautifully presented too. I will be back for a waterfront lunch for sure!

Irene Silas Update: still great food and service. Tried their blue cheese wedge salad - plenty of bacon and crumbs on it! We had lunch and enjoyed the seating outdoors. Mushrooms and curds appetizers were great with light breading. Ahi tuna was good but looked more like an appetizer or a small plate than a meal. We also hot the fish and shrimp meal - amazing! Flaky fish and large shrimp, also in light dusting instead of the heavy breading.

Isabella The Kokonut Hut Loved this place! The view is amazing right by the water! and the vibe is super chill. The staff was really friendly and on point the whole time. They’ve got a big variety of food, so there’s something for everyone. We tried a few different things and everything was tasty. Great spot to relax, eat, and enjoy with friends or family Definitely coming back!
