4 /5 L Sipe: Went here with a group of 10 for a celebration. We had called ahead and arranged for our group in the back area. We were greeted and seated immediately. Menus were brought and drinks ordered. The restaurant, especially the back area, was nicely decorated and quite distinct from the front bar area.
Since it was around 9:00 PM, my wife and I decided to split a French Dip sandwich, and each have a bowl of French Onion soup. A couple bowls of Fried Cheese Curds was ordered to share at the table.
After a short wait the Cheese Curds and some salads came. I must admit I had not eaten these since our days in Wisconsin 45 years earlier. They were delicious. Soon our main dishes came, Our French Dip sandwich was also delicious. However, we were disappointed in the French Onion soup. It was good but lacked a bit of flavor and missing most of the Cheese-Bread topping.
All in all, everyone was pleased with the food and service and especially the ambiance and decor.
