Cortez Clam Factory - (Near Bradenton, FL)

Mary Beth The Depot visit for lunch as a guest was beyond what I even imagined. Not only was the decor fun to look at details, but the choo choo train was such a nice surprise. Our food was excellent. The pulled pork sandwich was so above what I had at a well known bbq place a week ago. This sandwich was the same price and double the amount of the one before. The sauce on the sandwich at The Depot was also so much better than the other place. We had the Chicken sandwich, the Lobster Roll, the truffle fries and found nothing that wasnt good. The plates were garnished and pleasing to the eye, the food at the temp it should be and the side of potato salad was unexpected but so good. Plus the real train outside on the train was unexpected and exciting. This place is definitely on my list to visit again many times and highly recommend to all that just want a relaxing, fun, great food place. The service was excellent and John made sure we had everything we needed.

Paul M They were able to accommodate 30 of us that were in Newberry for a fast pitch travel ball tournament at Champion Park. Really close to the park and ample seating and parking. Service was good and they did a great job getting our orders and bills correct. I had the BBQ pork chops with a side of collards and baked beans. They chops were thick, moist, and flavorful. The side were on point too. Will definitely be back over the summer season.

Ross Macdonald I’ve been wanting to come here for years but they weren’t open on the weekends, well they are now! I really enjoyed Calypso and Estefania our waitress was so nice . The mussels and oysters are verrrrry good! Highly recommend .

Naturally E This was such a great lil’ spot! The food was absolutely delicious. I had the shrimp & grits and they were amazing. Our waitress was great. In fact, everyone was kind- even the bartender. The only one complaint I have is that the bathroom wasn’t as clean as it should’ve been. It was dirty- but it definitely smelled like the floors needed to be mopped. Otherwise, spot on!!

cj e Soul food cooked with soul!!! The best soul food I’ve had since relocating back to Pensacola that wasn’t cooked by me or my family. This is home cooking but without the 2-3 hour commitment. I can cook soul food but I’d sure prefer to get it quickly at B’s Cafe! All the flavor without the fuss. Food cooked hot to order, well seasoned and large portions. The restaurant is so clean that he could have an open kitchen concept. I love the well rounded menu as there is something for everyone. I can’t say enough about that red velvet cake, its soooo moist. In fact I ate the leftovers for breakfast the next day. Rib tips, okra, collard greens, cornbread, wings and pound cake are 10’s across the board! Oh my and the lemon pepper wings are fried crispy without even asking for extra crispy. I do prefer to ask for light lemon pepper seasoning but that’s a preference anywhere I get lemon pepper wings. You won’t be disappointed at B’s cafe bcus it has the 3 P’s…great product, portions and price!

Marshall Can Freaking Fantastic!!! Was it perfect? Nope. But the 5 ⭐️ rating remains because the main event proteins were such perfection, that its so so so well deserved. You MUST come here! Cocktails and wine were good, but not exceedingly delicious. Im picky. * Homemade Bread Fresh, warm ourdough bread came with labneh, zaatar * Grilled Calamari * Burrata * Prime NY 14oz Steak (med-well) * Butterflied Branzino The aforementioned items were 5 stars each, except for grilled calamari, which was 2 stars (rubbery and not enjoyable) Service was top tier, amazing Ambiance is chic and very well done. Modern meets industrial on the warm side. (If I had one critique its the missed opportunity to install black toilets, especially with the black finishes. Unfortunately the toilet is white.) Reservations are recommended. About the Branzino: crackle skin with velvety meat inside. Flavors galore without fussy sauces or sides. On its own, by itself is a winner! About Prime NY: typically I order steak that is medium-rare. In this particular case, opting for medium-well was absolutely perfect. The char, the outer crusty moments with the juicy inner meat was a huge win! No sauce required!!!!! No sides needed. I am shocked the prices for the proteins were so low! But the meal was incredible!
