Montecelo Guillermo “G” This is a very cozy little spot with some absolutely amazing food. A bunch of their ingredients are imported from Italy and all their pasta is handmade in-house. Staff is very nice and they have a nice selection of wine and drinks. We came here to celebrate my fiancées birthday, and they brought out a little hand written birthday card for her. Definitely coming back someday to try more of their menu.

Karmen Barrios Came in recently to enjoy lunch with a friend and my infant son. We were promptly greeted at the front and only had to wait a few minutes to be seated. We had a stroller with us other wise we would have been immediately sat up stairs. We started with some apps and drinks. I had the Irish whiskey onion soup, my friend had the crab bisque and we split the ciabatta board, these were paired with the red red wine and my boyfriend’s back. Everything was delicious! Our server Victoria was kind, attentive, and patient while we picked out our mains. To be fair everything sounded appetizing so it was difficult to pick just one! We landed on the toasted cheese and cashew chicken sandwich. Both very good and filling. We’ve made note to come back again and possibly try dinner. Although this was a bit of a pricey lunch, the food, the service, and time was worth it. IMO

Ray Miller This time its scallop medallions & grilled shrimp combo and the deconstructed shrimp kabobs. Shrimp kabobs was my server Reagans suggestion and definitely the right choice. They come piping hot with a delicious butter dipping sauce, but they taste great even without it. The vegetables (red, green bell peppers, onions, zucchini) are grilled with just the right amount of char to give it a delectable hint of smokiness that compliments the cajun shrimp. The sautéed scallop medallions are tasty and the rice pilaf is light, fluffy and goes well with the rest of the dinner. The chopped brocoli was good, but could have a better ratio of florets to stems.

Robert Hancock Its not often that we find a combination of very tasty food and great service in a sit down chain restaurant. The food tonight was worthy of a 4.5 and service was definitely 5-stars. And, they had some bargain specials. Mine was a 3-selection appetizer plate thats really a full meal for only $14.99, while my compadres had a the two meals for $25 special. Everybody liked their food. Check out the pics! Our waitress Ashleigh was great - friendly, attentive, efficient. We would definitely ask for her next time. Thank you!

Mark Thomas I cant eat at the Belgian Monk every time Im in Punta Gorda. So I decided to go next door, to Pho Saigon. A big menu with appetizers, pho, vermicelli & rice dishes grouped separately. I like that. And a first for me: different sizes. I ordered the Pho Hai San, small, because I really wanted seafood. It come with shrimp (2), fish balls (not what your thinking), octopus, squid & supposedly scallops of which I didnt see any. I do wish the tails were removed from the shrimp so I dont have to dig around in my hot soup with bare fingers. A side plate had bean sprouts and a huge slice of jalapeño. Everybody in the pool! The broth was a bit blah but with Sriracha, fish sauce, soy sauce and hoisin on the table, doctoring it to taste is easy-peasy. The staff was friendly at noon on a Wednesday in season and speedy. I was eating 5 minutes after I sat down. The restaurant is very roomy with tons of space to navigate a wheelchair. One wall has booths, the rest of the seating is tables and chairs plus there is room at the bar for 5-6. A side note: the chopsticks are not the disposable kind (usually bamboo), they are reusable, washable plastic. A bit harder for me to grab with but not thrown out after the meal. Ill gladly come back.

Alisha Justice You will not leave hungry! These sandwiches are stacked with fresh ingredients and delicious! We had the club and turkey panini and had absolutely nothing negative to say about either!
