3 /5 Onyxx Sky: My husband and I have been coming here since it opened in 1997 and we eat here at least once a month or more. The food, depending on the dish, is starting to have more Tex-Mex flavor rather than authentic old-home style Mexican food. There is a difference for those who don’t know. And now, no more nice quiet Sunday dinners. The owner has decided to allow a solo Mariachi to bring his one-band self in every single damn Sunday afternoon to sing. The music is SO LOUD it is unbearable…no way to enjoy your meal between people trying to yell over the music as well as kids screaming, trying to compete with the noise. So, my husband and I have stopped coming on Sundays. There are other nights dedicated to loud music activities and SUNDAY should NOT be one of those days at a family restaurant. I understand the man is trying to make a living but the owner here, Luis, should have chosen to allow the man to come either Fridays or Saturdays and NOT every single weekend so that families can enjoy their dinner without having to scream across the table at each other.
