5 /5 Kaila Johnson: The food was overall great. I ordered the bbq shrimp and grits and it was excellent. The crab cakes and voodoo balls were also really good. The chicken and waffles were disappointing. The waffles were perfect, but the chicken tasted like it had been double fried in funnel cake batter (greasy and had way too much going on). The drinks were amazing and so was the service (shoutout to Athan)! It’s a nice venue with a cool vibe. We will definitely be going back ☺️
3 /5 DPHarris88: Drinks are 3oz pour for about $13 - $15. Presentation was good and ambiance was amazing. Chicken on the chicken and grits was pretty greasy. Steak was salty as well as the grits were pretty salty.
4 /5 Abbess Apocalypse: We really enjoyed the atmosphere and the menu. My concern is that our server disappeared after our food was delivered. I wanted another glass of wine. She didn’t check back to see how things were. Apparently it took her *the whole time* we were eating our plates for her to make drinks for another table. No bartender? If other servers knew she was occupied taking care of another table’s cocktails, why couldn’t they have checked in? Prices should balance food and service.
5 /5 Tanya Echols: Visited on a Sunday before noon and walked right in. Atmosphere is nice. Service was pretty good. Food was was great. Hubby had the chimichurri steak. I had house salad which was pretty darn good for a salad. The crabcakes were great as well. Full of crab and well seasoned.
Heath Johnson Hidden inside Voodoo Bayu is a whimsical speakeasy with delicious food and fantastic drinks. We enjoyed multiple dishes , my absolute favorite was the Lobster Wagyu roll, absolutely amazing. Then for dessert we had a happy ending with the balls of glory!
Jen Chessor Defintely recommend. The food was absolutely delicious. We had a party of 6 on a Saturday night & the wait was only 15 minutes. Our waitress was very attentive and did a great job as well.
