Dough Bar Restaurant - (Near Punta Gorda, FL)

2 /5 Fig: Our first time here, and unfortunately it was not a good experience. From the outside the place looked intriguing, but once inside the atmosphere was underwhelming. There were only two couples in the restaurant, including us, yet the service was very slow. It seemed like the employees were more focused on talking among themselves than on taking care of the guests. We started with the garlic bread, which was not appealing in presentation and lacked flavor. From there, we waited far too long for our entrees — rigatoni Bolognese and a pizza — both of which were disappointing. The pasta fagioli ordered tasted horrible, as if it had been sitting all day. It was overcooked, old-tasting, and far from fresh. The pizza also lacked any real flavor or quality. We had considered dessert, but given the delays with everything else, we decided against it. On another note, the cleanliness also needs attention. The restroom lacked basic supplies and was not well maintained, which reflects poorly on the overall experience. The waitress herself was pleasant, but overall the food quality, service, and cleanliness fell short. Unfortunately, this will not be a place we return to

5 /5 B T Bellino: We really enjoyed our lunch and had high quality of authentic fresh dough products. Garlic knots and Calazone, Peroni Beer on tap and Moscato Wine We were treated like we owned the joint. If so, I would be proud to have a piece of it. My return visit was just as good!

5 /5 Alexander Parks: I had an amazing experience at Dough Bar Pizza that absolutely deserves a shout-out. From the moment we walked in, the service was top-notch—friendly, fast, and genuinely welcoming. You can tell the staff actually care about creating a great atmosphere. Now, the food? Incredible. The pizza was out of this world—perfectly crisp crust, fresh toppings, and that melty, flavorful cheese that makes every bite unforgettable. We also tried a few appetizers, and everything was seasoned and cooked to perfection. You can tell they don’t cut corners on quality. And to top it all off, Southland Bandana was performing live that night, and they absolutely crushed it. Their energy, musicianship, and setlist brought the whole place to life. They created such a fun, laid-back vibe that paired perfectly with the food and drinks. If youre looking for a great meal, awesome music, and genuinely good people—Dough Bar Pizza is the place to be. Can’t wait to come back!

1 /5 Jen: Came down to visit my girlfriends this month from New Hampshire, one of them recommended this place because she’s been before. She said that it was a “nice local spot “.. or well it use to be for that matter: We were very displeased by the new staff they’ve hired. A staff member named Reina was rude and seemed like she didn’t really care to be there. Attitude was terrible and really left a sour taste in our mouths.

1 /5 J thrasher: This is their margarita. no cheese no basil / minced garlic..no flavor. Bread with ragu sauce ..the Rat at chucky cheese does a better job . First and last time at this place. Pictures should tell you all you need to know . But if you never had food before you’ll love it here !!!
