One star for good flavor, but that is all. We have lived here a few years now and used to come here frequently, enjoying our visits, but it has been a few months and something has gone terribly wrong. Prices have gone up but the overall experience has gone down. Floor was very sticky and staff just stepping over trash. Then it took so long to order we tried to get drinks and food in one visit. We were forced to wait, order drinks, then come back for food. Staffing was not the issue, because there was a lot of idle chatter going on, while we had to wait. Menus were covered in sticky food. Chips arrived, but salsa and queso were in badly chipped dishes. Is that even safe/legal? Isnt there a chance of more chips breaking off and getting in your food? Refills for our chips and drinks took entirely too long and we never got the salsa refill we asked for. We dont find out until our food order finally arrives, that the one item I wanted most (chile relleno) is not available. No way I am ordering something else, now! No surprise, after another long wait, and more empty drinks, the bill finally arrives and the chile relleno is still on it). Wow! Train wreck!
OLD REVIEW:
Food was excellent. Wife had the Blue Lagoon and she loved it. She said it did not taste strong but it clearly was stronger than it looked. The only concern was service. Once our food came out we didnt see a server again until we were done. Would have liked a but more attentiveness. Drink refill, etc. Still, a good dinner experience. Not perfect but not much is these days.
