Emerald Isle Seafood - (Near Crestview, FL)

5 /5 Kitty Carlisle: My family treated me to dinner at Emerald Isle Seafood during my visit to FL from AZ and I was very impressed. The atmosphere was welcoming, with the walls decorated in an oceanic theme and the background music the perfect volume (low enough for patrons to easily converse, while loud enough to enjoy the classic/popular selection). The staff were not only extremely friendly and professional, our waitress in particular was accommodating by offering helpful suggestions to alternative dishes so I could adhere to my restrictive diet. Her memory was sharp as our group of 5 made changes as we ordered and as we eventually even added food to go (tuna dip for more out of town guests arriving the next day and frozen alligator tail to cook at a later date). I was pleasantly surprised when she produced a gluten-free and dairy-free menu that detailed which foods were compliant and which could be prepared in such a way as to not adversely affect those with dietary allergies or sensitivities. Of particular note was the delicious food: prepared to perfection and in generous portions. The creamy, Smoked Tuna Dip was flavorful (and rapidly consumed), and the Surf and Surf (shrimp and snow crab legs) was specially prepared without spices for me and was still absolutely mouth watering. And the Buffalo Chicken Tender PoBoy, Mahi-Mahi Orleans, Chicken Strip Sandwich with Texas toast were all eaten with gusto. This dinner was a highlight of my visit so far and plans were made to return for both lunch and dinner in the future. I highly recommend this little gem of a restaurant and look forward to coming back the next time Im in the area.

5 /5 Ben Healy: Emerald Isle is certainly one of the best restaurants in Crestview. Besides having an incredible blackened Mahi sandwich, they have EXCELLENT seafood gumbo and delicious hand-cut shoestring French fries. I have become a bit of a seafood snob over the years, but everything Ive had here is good. The service is consistently good as well, and it has a relaxing atmosphere. You can dress up or down, go on a date or take the whole family, and it will be a good time. This restaurant provides a small town feel with high-caliber food and service. I honestly cant recommend them enough. If you run into an evening when you just cant decide what to do for dinner, head to Emerald Isle. You wont regret it.

4 /5 John Levins: Excellent location. Good food & service was out of this world. Felt like we were rock stars....... Worth a go to the steak was cooked perfectly. The crab claws were battered and golden fried to perfection... Try yourself the bread pudding after your dinner. It was good and I was really appreciative that they had the amberbock Michelob product cold beer.

5 /5 Rick Abraham: Man, this place is amazing. If you want the snow crabs, come early. I missed that window, but I sure did well with the surf and turf (Gulf Coast Shrimp). Although it looks amazing, it tastes even better.
