5 /5 Marie Weaver: Hidden Gem BBQ Spot in Okeechobee! If you’re looking for the best BBQ in Okeechobee, look no further than Fat Johnny’s BBQ. This local, hard-to-find spot serves up amazing pulled pork sandwiches that are juicy, smoky, and full of authentic Southern flavor. The sides are just as good, with crispy seasoned fries, creamy coleslaw, and delicious baked beans that taste homemade. We had Riley as our server, and she delivered 10-star service, friendly, attentive, and made sure our drinks stayed full and our meal was perfect from start to finish. The restaurant has a laid-back, welcoming atmosphere with great food, cold drinks, and plenty of seating. The only small suggestion I’d make is maybe switching to a milder cleaning product; the Fabuloso scent was strong. The BBQ deserves to be the first thing you smell! Otherwise, this place is five stars all the way, with great food, great service, and a true local BBQ treasure in Okeechobee, Florida. We’ll definitely be back!

5 /5 Arturo Oliva Violín: If you have forgotten what great barbecue taste like well take a drive to Okeechobee, and get a really good reminder of what absolutely great barbecue taste like it’s worth the drive and so delicious from their corn nuggets to their banana pudding and everything in between was just amazing collard greens carrots brisket everything so delicious. We are sure to make this a weekly adventure so don’t miss it and enjoy the atmosphere of laid-back old-fashioned country life…. Rebecca will make sure you’re treated right!!!

5 /5 Darren Carbone: Family friendly very tasty BBQ. The ribs and chicken are very good. The rib was a bit dry but still flavorful. Slicing the sausage so thin is odd but tasty. The chicken wings are tasty and prepared well too! Enjoyed the generous portion of mozzarella sticks and delicious Mac and cheese and bowl as well. Wish the banana bread wafers were softer but still full of banana flavor. Save room for the cookies they are made I. House. The thing that makes this solid are the BBQ sauces. They are outstanding. One of the best things is Riley the server. What a wonderful and welcoming server. We will be back.
