Fish Shack - (Near Lighthouse Point, FL)

5 /5 Travis Bullock: This was our first time at Fish Shack. The service was exceptional and the fresh fish was delicious! We ended our meal splitting a piece of Key Lime pie and it was one of the best we have had. Highly recommend, and we will be back!!

4 /5 Natalie: The food here is delicious! We got the grilled combo plate that included scallops, shrimp, and Mahi. It also comes with two sides. We both got fries and also the cucumber salad and the carrots. I would have given this place 5 stars but we felt like the quantity of food was on the light side … especially the fries. It comes in a small bowl that was not filled up all the way. For $32 a plate, we just expected a bit more food. The staff was kind. The atmosphere was a classic seafood joint. There is a wait though. Be prepared for that. We waited 20 minutes but when we left there were a lot of people outside and they probably waited longer.

We recently went to Fish Shack in Lighthouse Point with a party of eight, and it was hands-down one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in South Florida! From the moment we walked in, we felt right at home. The place has a laid-back, local vibe, but the food is anything but ordinary. We ordered a mix of appetizers to share the conch fritters, smoked fish dip, shrimp scampi and crab cakes were all outstanding and set the tone for the rest of the meal. Every dish we tried was fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. The grilled mahi, fried shrimp, and blackened grouper sandwiches were amazing — you can really taste how fresh the seafood is. Even with a larger group, the service was quick and friendly, and all the orders came out hot and exactly right. If you’re craving fresh seafood, generous portions, and that authentic Florida fish shack feel, this place is a must-try. We’re already planning our next visit I’d highly recommend!

5 /5 Melanated Misanthrope: The bar service was nice! The conch fritters were enjoyable for my first time indulging. The caesar salad with shrimp has an amazing ratio of dressing to greens. The shrimp sizes and flavors were great! The Kung Fu wine I found enjoyable especially as someone not big on wine. I really love the idea that you can bring your fishing catch in to be clean and cooked .

5 /5 Kenny Kahle: Great locals spot at a random strip mall. All of the food was excellent and came out piping hot. Every single item we ate was fresh and delicious, especially the conch fritters and fish and chips. Little awkward with my fish and chips coming out well after everyones dishes but the flavor made up for it. Highly recommend, but a little pricey.
