Hungry Howies Pizza & Subs - (Near Wauchula, FL)

Nick Berick Four of us walked in around 7:30 for dinner. We were promptly seated and met our waitress, whose name was Beatriz She was exquisite! She was super friendly and helped a lot with our selections. She brought us tortilla chips that were thin and crispy along with some very good salsa. We ordered queso with it as well. It was really good. We made 4 orders of quesadilla, an order of veggie fajita an order of chicken fajita and the taco Tuesday special. Holy cow! The flavor of the food Was simply awesome! The quantity of the food was outrageous! There was enough food for a table of 6 hungry persons! While we were here, a giant dish of fried ice cream went by. Oh how we wanted to order that and share it. We were not able to order it. Too full. I was planning on checking out several other restaurants while we were in the area, but alas, we will have to return here! I neglected to take a picture of the veggie fajitas The most expensive meals were under $19 Beer and margaritas were $5

Matt “GenXBiker” Nice and clean interior and they now have Coke products. The prices are getting absurd and my roommate realized you do NOT get combos. Large drinks are now $2 but the cups got smaller. The new pulled pork cheeseburgeris good but expensive and as you can see from the picture you dont get much pulled pork. A second patty is $4. The pies are cheap and really good. Much better than a competitor across the street. Service exists but smiles and attitude are a bit lacking. The fries are still good but probably the most expensive single item per calorie.

Customer Service Absolutely amazing food!!! I was there 45 minutes before closing. They were very nice. Told me they would be putting some stuff away. And everything still tasted really really good and the service is absolutely friendly kept refilling my drink and even near closing they never rushed me and kept food out till closing. The banana pudding is the best!! The best dessert they have!! A must try!

patricia Dury Was there for an "event". The front desk staff was wonderful, assisting with last minute signage, etc. The Waterfront provided the catered lunch, which was also great. Very nice Hotel and great location in The Villages.

Shari P 10-15 ladies in my community go to breakfast once a month and Athenian is one of our favorites! Their food is very good, fair priced, lovely waitresses. We were just there this morning! (13 of us) (Make sure to let them know you are coming if its a larger party)

Egui The best chicken and waffles Ive ever had! This was my first time and I wish I didnt live so far away so I could come back more often. The food is excellent. My father-in-law ordered the biscuits and gravy and loved them. Hes hard to please and said theyre the best hes had in years.
