Hunts on St Joe Bay - (Near Port St Joe, FL)

5 /5 Holly Koehler: Amazing views of St. Joe Bay. Fantastic food. Wonderful service. The she crab soup and scallops appetizer were amazing! The best scallops Ive ever had. The place gets very busy and they do not take reservations and sometimes wont take to go orders because the kitchen gets so busy. It is located right next to a couple pontoon rental places so its convenient for a meal after a day in the bay. We will definitely wear here again when we return next year.

4 /5 Amber Black: Hunts is a hopping restaurant in Port St. Joe. The are is known for oysters and scallops, so of course our table had to give those a try. Both were flavorful and fresh. Our party also tried the flounder, crab cakes and chicken tenders. It is a seafood restaurant, so the chicken tenders werent the star of the show and were standard. The crab cakes were really "wet" and fell apart very easily, but the flavor was ok. The price for eating crab means the dangers of shells, and there were quite a few shell fragments within the crab cakes. The service is absolutely stellar. Combine great service with a stunning sunset view really makes stopping at this restaurant a special treat. Be prepared to wait as this is a popular spot for locals and tourists!

5 /5 Casey Wright: Stopped in with a big group today and it was phenomenal! Everyone loved their meals. The cheese grits and garlic mashed potatoes were among the best Ive ever had. We had the cheese platter and mango habenero shrimp as appetizers and they were SO good. The shrimp and scallops were raved about. An excellent meal. We will definitely be back!!

4 /5 Adrienne North: We went around 5pm during the week, just 2 of us. Thankfully we were seated quickly, but it looked like larger groups had to wait. The service was great & all the employees were nice! We got the 3 cheese Cajun jalapeño oysters, and they were the best part of the meal! We also got the seafood platter and shrimp/grouper combo. They were both pretty good overall! I got fries & cheese grits as sides - wish I had not gotten the cheese grits because they were very bland. My husband got fries & fried okra - both were good. Great views and good music (although it was pretty loud & difficult to hear one another)!
