JARDIN KITCHEN - (Near Pompano Beach, FL)

John We hit Owens Fish Camp during our recent vacation and it did not disappoint. While not on the water, the ambience, covered by trees and nature while tucked away near downtown, was great. We sat outside on a warm summer night. The service was really good. We had everything we needed and yet the servers weren’t intrusive. It was our first time to Owens and they gave great recommendations on what to try. We started with the Gumbo and Crab Cake appetizers. Both were flavorful and the crab cake was over stuffed with breading. For entrees we went with Shrimp Baskets & the Fresh Catch plates with Scamp and Grouper with Butter sauces. The fresh was cooked perfectly (meaning not over) and you could taste the freshness. We ended up splitting a Key Lime Pie for dessert. Everything went well and we will certainly be back on our next trip. There’s also a mercantile shop connected to the restaurant to kill time while waiting for a table. We were there mid week and there wasn’t live music but next time we’ll try on a weekend to hear some tunes. All in all, highly recommend Owens Fish Camp for a great all-around dining experience.

Vanessa The candied bacon old fashioned’s are the bomb! Highly recommend trying one if you are a bourbon fan. We went during the week so it was easy to get a bar seat. The weekend can be a challenge at night. The bar tender was very attentive and the food was great.

Chris Nonnemaker Great spot for lunch right on the beach. Food was decent but a bit pricey as expected at a resort. Full bar on site with several specialty cocktails. Highly recommend this place for a fun afternoon

gregg pap in the area. I was surprised by the looks of it. You would think that it isnt an Italian restaurant, but when you eat the food. Its simply amazing. My wife always judges an Italian restaurant by its sauce. And she loved it. So we knew the food was going to be great. We had a really good talk with the stepson of the owner as he was our server, and we learned a little bit about the restaurant . supporting local business is important. Are food came out hot tasty, with more of the tasty sauce for dipping. I know next month. Where will we take a large party to this restaurant after our event. If youre in the keys, dont area or passing through. Its definitely worth a stop. Theyve got some really cool signage and have a full bar .

Dorian Whitehead This place has been a staple in my community for a number of years. No matter what state Im in j&Js is always on point with the seafood and chicken. Love the flavors. Love the service and all the varieties you can get

Elexia Jones I recently discovered Blendz, and I have to say, I’m absolutely hooked. The place is spotless, the staff is friendly, and the food is incredible. As a small business, it’s clear they put in a lot of effort to provide great service. Their Açaí bowls are my go-to, but I’m just as obsessed with their sandwiches. My only minor complaint is that they sometimes run out of items, but since they’re still fairly new and growing, it’s understandable. It’s definitely not a dealbreaker for me I just pick another option from the menu. Definitely give them a try!
