3 /5 Trent Head: Great atmosphere and the DJ was playing some amazing music! Love the decor and things started off well. We were told we would have a team of servers, so that was cool. Drinks, first and second course came out in a normal time frame and were very good. It took 45 mins to get the third course. We started to run late as we are close to 2 hours in at this point. Only saw one server for 90 percent of the time, he was nice but overwhelmed and not able to keep up. I had to go find him to ask for the check and please just box our desserts as we need to go. That took another 20 mins, the table next to ours didn’t touch their desserts as they had the same issue. We never saw a manager going around to check on anything. Hopefully they will improve on this as it’s a really cool spot with great potential. However, for $150 pre fixe per person it wasn’t worth it for all the time we spend waiting for food and our check.

5 /5 Arturo Arambulo: Jay’s Steakhouse absolutely delivered. Everything was as beautiful and delicious as advertised online—no surprises, only wins. My family visited over Christmas weekend and had the chance to sample much of the menu, and every dish was on point. The staff was fantastic—attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming—and the live music was the perfect finishing touch. A top-tier dining experience from start to finish!

4 /5 Quinnette Salandy: I’ve been to Jay’s twice now—once on a Saturday for dinner and recently for Sunday brunch to celebrate my partner’s birthday. The space itself is beautiful; Jay’s is a restored old church, and the ambiance definitely adds to the experience. The Sunday brunch was nice, but extremely pricey. It’s $85 per person, plus an additional $25 for two hours of bottomless cocktails. You can switch between mimosas, Bellinis, and prosecco throughout the two-hour window, which is a nice touch. The buffet offered a wide assortment of pastries, desserts, breads, chicken and waffles, eggs, bacon, sausages, lox with cream cheese and veggies, chicken Francese, prime rib, oysters, shrimp cocktail—just to name a few. While the selection was large, the food itself was good but not amazing. Our server was wonderful and mentioned she was celebrating her own birthday on Monday, which added a warm, personal touch to the experience. The cocktails were definitely a highlight—really well made. Overall, Jay’s is a gorgeous spot with great service, and I’d absolutely return for dinner. However, I wouldn’t go back for the brunch at that price point.

5 /5 E H: G (Guilherme) at the bar greeted us with a smile and some amazing recommendations for our post Broward Center theatre Sunday happy hour. We were impressed by the pristine crispy tuna, tempura rock shrimp, lychee martini, and delicious Rioja wine! The beef in the steak frites was so tender, I cut it with a fork and the French dip was amazing, thinly shaved meat, fresh bread, and well composed! The gargantuan Baked Alaska with brownie, ice cream, & torched meringue was a sweet finish to an amazing night! We cant wait it to return!

The truffle duck fat fries, lamb chop lollipops, rock shrimp tempura, bone marrow, Lucky Duck oysters, and the impressive seafood towers are all unforgettable. The prime rib trolley and the tomahawk steak are true showstoppers, served with classic sides that feel elevated and fresh. The cocktails are worth the visit on their own. Each drink is crafted with care, beautifully balanced, and full of flavor. It is the kind of place where trying something new feels exciting. What truly makes Jays stand out is the ambiance and weekend entertainment. Live jazz, soulful music, and a lively late night atmosphere create a setting where you want to stay long after dessert. It feels like dinner and a night out all in one. The service is exceptional. Warm, attentive, and polished without ever feeling stuffy. A special shout out to John the manager who goes above and beyond to make every guest feel welcome. His professionalism, genuine hospitality, and attention to detail take the entire experience to another level. You can tell he cares deeply about ensuring every visit is memorable. Whether you are celebrating a special occasion, planning a date night, or simply looking for a memorable dining experience, Jays Steakhouse should be at the very top of your list. Incredible food, stunning ambiance, handcrafted cocktails, amazing service, and weekend entertainment make it one of Fort Lauderdale’s must visit destinations.
