Jay Thomas We absolutely love this Old Salty Dog location near St. Armands Circle in Sarasota. The restaurant is waterfront and right next to a marina/boat yard and marine center. There are always boats being launched, refueling, or just cruising by. On a sunny day, it is a perfect waterfront spot in Sarasota to boat watch. The Pelicans are always swooping for fish and putting on a show for restaurant guests. You can also occasionally see jelly fish, we just saw a couple hundred swimming by on our last visit. Rain or shine, Old Salty Dog is always worth a visit. The patio gets the perfect amount of sun on a sunny day with light sun shades, a gulf breeze, and the perfect sunset back drop. On rainy days, you might have to wait a minute for an inside table or seat at the bar because they stay busy, but it is worth the wait. As the name implies, they are known for their deep fried hot dogs and dog bites which are always a favorite. The burgers also hit the spot for a change up and the seafood doesn’t disappoint. If you’re looking for a frozen drink on a hot day, a delicious rum runner, or just a beer they have something for everyone. The parking lot gets full pretty quick with limited spaces while they are working on the building next door, but additional lots are across the street and a short 2 minute walk. We’d highly recommend Old Salty Dog for a casual waterfront restaurant in Sarasota with good food, good drinks, and the ability to come in your swim suit by boat or car.

A huge shoutout to our incredible server, Anya, who truly went above and beyond to make our night unforgettable. Originally, we were a party of six, but when plans changed and it ended up being just my wife and me, Anya handled everything with absolute professionalism and grace. She even coordinated with a coworker to ensure she could remain our server—a gesture we deeply appreciated. On top of that, she thoughtfully seated us where we could enjoy the NFL games, which made the experience even better. The atmosphere was electric, vibrant, and beautifully lit—perfect for a night out. The management team was on point, ensuring everything ran smoothly and the vibe stayed amazing throughout the evening. And here’s the part that truly blew us away: Anya surprised me with a birthday cake, perfectly presented and absolutely delicious. It was such a thoughtful touch that made the celebration extra special. Kudos to Anya for her outstanding service, warm personality, and attention to detail. She turned a great night into an unforgettable one. If you’re looking for a place with phenomenal food, an incredible atmosphere, and top-tier service, Moxies Las Olas is the spot. Frank Brown We were waited on by the bartender, Haley. She wore a bright smile, and worked quickly. She checked back with us often, making sure we had all we needed and that we were enjoying our meal. We definitely recommend stopping in and seeing Haley! Also, the guitar player, Sid, does a great job singing and engaging with the audience.

R. M. Havent been here for awhile. So I decided to check.it out . Got a seat at the tiki bar. Had a soda and ordered a grilled chicken sandwich with a side of slaw topped with provolone . it was really.GOOD. I devoured that and then ordered a cheese burger with fries . That was delicious also. The bar tenders both of the ladies very nice . Nice place to kick back anytime of the day . Love the location the food and the atmosphere. Been back a few more times had a salad and a grilled sandwich with a extra piece of grilled chicken and slaw. It was delicious. Ate at the tiki bar and Donna was terrific.

Patricia Foster Ive been reviewing restaurants & food trucks for many years now and I must let others know that Bakers Catering has the most delicious, yummy, mouth watering food that I have ever eaten. We drive 68 miles to enjoy the outstanding selection that is offered at this food truck location - 910 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Panama City, FL 32401 - Very Clean and they keep everything tidy & organized. Great People! "YUMMY-YUMMY! Still the Best food truck in the area! Great seafood & Fresh too.
