4 /5 Sandra Mc: The restaurant is located between the JW Marriott and the Ritz-Carlton, with its own entrance or access through the hotels. The décor is modern and sleek, nothing over the top, but it definitely has a high-end feel and the prices reflect that.
We ordered the tuna & foie and the Hamachi as starters, followed by the wagyu picanha frites and the pappardelle bolognese as our main dishes. The food was good, but to be honest, I expected more flavor and better execution.
The pappardelle came with a meat sauce, but it was dry, there was basically no moisture or richness, which is disappointing for a bolognese. I mentioned this to the waiter, and he told me he would inform the chef, but that was the end of it.
They also didn’t have spicy oil, so I asked for cayenne pepper mixed in oil as an alternative.
It’s not a Michelin-starred restaurant though it is mentioned in the guide but in my opinion, it doesn’t live up to the hype. I actually preferred Primo at the JW Marriott much more.
