Shari P 10-15 ladies in my community go to breakfast once a month and Athenian is one of our favorites! Their food is very good, fair priced, lovely waitresses. We were just there this morning! (13 of us) (Make sure to let them know you are coming if its a larger party)

Richard Coradi This place is off on a side street from Duval. The bartender was friendly and attentive. We split a steak sandwich that was really good. The gave a frozen coffee drink that is a must get. We were here on 10/17/25.

Jennifer Allen Absolutely adorable little cafe!! The food was amazing and plentiful. I had the corned beef hash and it was perfect. Done completely not burned and delicious. Grits were the same done perfectly without the little husks. My waitress was a gem so personable and friendly amazing fast service. Mid morning on a Tuesday

Andrew Silverstein Came here on a Friday night. Prices are reasonable, $4 for a Coors Light and there were 3 other beers available for $3. Theres limited bar seating, only 2 seats total, which is strange however there is plenty of outdoor seating at picnic tables and such so on a nice night seating isnt an issue. Bathrooms are unisex, there are at least 3, 2 of which are outside. Staff was generally friendly although 1 bartender didnt like to give customers back their change. Overall, preferred this to Palace Saloon.

Genesis Ureña The food and ambience is amazing. Good customer service and clean restrooms. I would recommend and also please go to Orlando and open a restaurant there we need something like this there.

Matt “GenXBiker” If you can find this hole in the wall wonder, you are blessed. The building is shared with a mechanic shop but well worth finding. Everyday lunch buffet makes it worth being here. The is no overpriced exotic menu item and it honestly feels more like a military chow hall from the 70s. However, the food is worth the trip. All you can eat with a drink for about $18. Thats a bit expensive for some but should you have a big appetite, this is a great stop to fill up. The interior is old and outdated with slightly uncomfortable seating. The bathroom requires a hunting party to find but, they have large TVs and music playing. It feels like a piece of the past filled with fond memories. The setting isnt flashy because they spend their money and effort on feeding you well. Each day has a different buffet menu dish and Saturday morning has a breakfast buffet! I pray they do well and stay in business for a long time because places like this just dont exist anymore. Stop by and enjoy the southern cooking.
