Our recent visit was nothing short of exceptional. Opting for a tapas-style dinner, we sampled three standout dishes, each one executed with thoughtful precision and rich layers of flavor. We began with the Southern Fried Oysters on Grits, which were everything youd hope for in a Gulf Coast delicacy. Perfectly crisp oysters crowned a velvety bed of stone-ground grits, balancing brine and butter in each bite. This dish was a comforting nod to tradition, elevated by its presentation and seasoning. Next came the Brussel Sprouts in a Smoked Gouda Sauce with Bacon. These small but mighty sprouts arrived caramelized and tender, enrobed in a creamy sauce that struck the right chord between smoky and savory. The crisp bacon added texture and depth — a decadent, shareable plate that disappeared quickly. Our third selection, the Seared Scallops, were nothing short of artful. Plump and perfectly seared, the scallops were paired with two towering tempura onion rings, which added crunch and a whisper of sweetness. The contrast in texture made this dish both playful and refined. To complement the meal, I enjoyed a Buffalo Trace Old Fashioned, expertly mixed and served with a large ice cube that melted slowly — the kind of cocktail that quietly reminds you youre in good hands. Our waiter, Gary, was attentive without being overbearing, and the ambience — warm lighting, intimate tables, and a lively but not overwhelming crowd — provided a fitting backdrop for a truly memorable evening. Final Verdict: Global Grill nails the balance of upscale dining and Southern charm. Each dish was masterfully prepared and portioned generously for tapas. If youre looking for a place where flavor, atmosphere, and attention to detail align beautifully, Global Grill deserves a top spot on your list.

Miss T. I LOVE Hillstone! This is a great date night spot (recommended to make reservations for right before sundown so that you can see the sunset). There is a beautiful, small pier that you can walk outside onto. Theres seating there as well for lounging. Theres also seating by the walkway to the pier, and if Im not mistaken, I think Ive seen a firepit before, Im not sure. But all in all, it is a beautiful restaurant. The servers are personable and are good at their jobs. The food?! The food is DELICIOUS. This time, I had more than my usual (knife and fork barbeque ribs that quite literally fall off the bone). My mom and I shared the Jalepeño Queso with tortillas and the Southern Style Brussel Sprouts with lemon aioli and reggiano. The queso isnt my thing but it was yummy, and the brussel sprouts? I dislike brussel sprouts but I loved these. That lemon aioli was chefs kiss! My mom ordered the crab cakes and she let me try them. I might be getting those the next time! The drinks are good too. I usually get margaritas, but this time I had the Jackrabbit, which tasted very similar to a paloma but served up. I recommend Hillstone over and over and over again!

Roopie R We had an incredible experience at Osteria Del Mar for breakfast! From the moment we sat down, our server was ON IT—honestly, some of the best service Ive ever had. They were so friendly and super mindful of the fact that we had a baby with us. They even brought out some fresh fruit for her first, which was such a thoughtful touch! They also made great recommendations, which we truly appreciated. My husband and I ordered breakfast dishes, and everything was delicious. The flavors were spot on, and you could tell the ingredients were fresh. On top of that, the atmosphere was amazing—a perfect setting for a relaxing meal. We will definitely be visiting again next time we’re in town. Highly recommend!

A special thank you to Mauro — he was attentive, friendly, and made sure we felt taken care of the entire night. Service like that truly makes a difference. We’ll definitely be coming back.

Kristen Duska This place is comfort food done right. The chicken and waffles are delicious and definitely the staple food of choice. The cornbread has the right hint of sweetness with bacon inside as an added bonus. The Mac and Cheese is off the charts. What I really appreciate about this restaurant is the atmosphere which gives off a comfortable, relaxing, vibe. The open kitchen lets you watch the food being prepared which was also a nice added touch. Whether you’re there on a romantic date or night out with friends, this spot provides a great experience. Definitely worth a visit if you love classic comfort food with a fresh, made-from-scratch feel.

Marissa Went to here for a friend’s birthday party. The service was amazing. The owner was so sweet and the food was to die for, probably one of the best restaurant in downtown Naples.
